Casa Carmelita, Àven kÀnd som Casa Encantada # 7, har gott om charm, romantik och magnetism som Àr undanstoppad i en lugn miljö. `Casa Encantada ligger pÄ det ursprungliga Taos Pueblo-landet som gÄr tillbaka över 400 Är och Àr en av de frÀmsta fastigheterna i Taos. Ligger ett kvarter frÄn Kit Carson, det Àr en kort promenad till Plaza, 0,7 miles eller kör till gratis parkering bara nÄgra minuter frÄn Plaza för shopping, gallerier, restauranger, musik och museer, och bara nÄgra minuter till El Monte Sagrado Resort och Spa.

Casa Carmelita Àr en klassisk adobe casita som öppnar in i ett vackert anlagd, grÀsbevuxet gemensamt omrÄde. DÀr kommer du att njuta av en unik totemspole omgiven av stora bomulls- och asktrÀer. Denna enkelsÀngar rymmer 4 personer bekvÀmt med en king size-sÀng (memory foam) och en drottning, amerikansk komfort sovhytt med förstklassig skummadrass, inga barer, inga fjÀdrar, ingen kompromiss. Vi Àr hund Àlskare och Àr en hundvÀnlig casita. GÀst kommer att njuta av den stora Kiva vedeldade eldstaden för varma mysiga nÀtter. Franska dörrar öppnas till den rymliga privata uteplatsen som visar en bistro med en brinnande chiminea för en "ganska" happy hour, sedan toppa kvÀllen med en avkopplande blötlÀggning i badtunnan. This cosy home is beautiful. Well appointed and decorated. Fully equipped kitchen and very clean. Nice, walkable neighborhood with access to art, restaurants, and museums. The hot tub, fire pit are so nice. It’s just a lovely place. Carmelita was easy to communicate with and prompt. The neighbors are so nice. And there are 2 wonderful dogs to greet you. But don’t be dissuaded. If you are not a dog person, the owners are very respectful and responsible. Loved Taos. So much to do. We hope to go back and would choose this place again. Excellent and Well-appointed

This was probably one of the nicest places we’ve stayed that welcomes dogs. It was spotless, well-stocked, well-appointed, quiet and convenient. The courtyard was perfect and so was the hot tub. This little place checks all the boxes! We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Wonderful casita in Taos

Lovely little casita walking distance to the historic district of Taos while still being tucked enough away. Such a cute home and the outdoor area was still so widely used even in winter. We'd gladly return! The art on the walls was all done by the casita owner as well which felt really homey.

It’s time to land of enchantment

Casa Carmelita was a great place to stay! We really enjoyed the patio and the hot tub! There is a comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen, and the washer and dryer was a bonus! it is close to the plaza and restaurants and stores in town.

As always, lovely

This is the third time that my husband and I have stayed here to enjoy the world class hiking trails in the area. So comfortable. Perfect location. The new hot tub is great. We hope to come back for years to come.

Fond of property

We’ve stayed here multiple times. We enjoy this property and Carmelita is beyond helpful. I am usually thorough when departing, but this time I left our travel folder. Carmelita went beyond what is expected and will be sending the folder back to us. The property is quiet and relaxing. I’m sure we’ll be back—assuming it’s available when we return. Carmelita is kind and easy to deal with. We follow the outlined rules and leave the property with the respect and with care it deserves.

Great stay

It is small but very efficient use of space. The house had everything we needed; A/C in living room and cool air in bedroom, hot tub, chiminea, laundry detergent, plenty of dishes (although we didn’t cook), there was even coffee for the Kureig. About 2/3 mile from plaza, so we walked everywhere. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely the best!

First of all, the communications were excellent and always asap in speed, both with Carmelita and the caretaker (as we called and wanted to check in an hour earlier). And, everything was ready and perfect! The best stocked kitchen with great cookware, utensils, china, on and on. And, the decor was lovely. After being on the road almost a month, the washer and dryer really came in handy. The property was so lovely. Really enjoyed both mornings and evenings out on the relaxing private patio. We wanted to take advantage of the hot tub but never could fit it into our Taos schedule! I cannot say enough about this VRBO spot. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for having us!

Casita Carmileta is a wonderful excape to Taos and the outstanding cultural heritage unique to New Mexico. The Casita is furnished with the guests needs, comfort and privacy in mind. It was everything we expected and more.

A Recurring Favorite

Such a warm, inviting place with all the things to make a stay complete. The hosts are pleasantly responsive if needed. I have stayed here several times and come back for the special feeling of the casita and the location to town. From starting my morning on the patio with the neighborhood flicker, magpie and crow, to ending with a glass of wine and hot tub, it is extraordinary.

Quaint and Cozy spot in Taos

Walking distance to town, down the street from El Monte Sagrado (if you want to do Spa) and very spacious patio with a clutch hot tub ans yard area for dogs. Had an awesome time. Thank you for the hospitality.

Very relaxing

This place was so well equipped. I loved that I didn’t have to buy spices and everything to cook. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was that there is literally nowhere to take your dogs off leash in Taos. The only “dog park” is an enclosed cement tennis court. This is definitely no reflection of the property itself but I think Taos needs to build some sort of dog park. Thank you for a very relaxing time.

Beautiful,cozy and perfect location

My wife and I celebrated 28 years together and wanted to explore Taos
the Casita was perfect! The location was close enough to walk to just about everything. The casita was very well stocked with everything you might need, the bed and pillows were super comfortable and the courtyard was also very “cozy” perfect for a couple!
