Upstairs you will find 3 x bedrooms (1 x king with a balcony leading off it and 2 bedrooms with 2 x twin beds each. There is another full bathroom on this level.
There are stairs leading up to the rooftop terrace with great city views.
There are 3 x outdoor seating areas, 2 x full bathrooms, and a European laundry. Situated in Carlton, this house is right on the doorstep of all that Carlton and the inner north of Melbourne has to offer - scores of top quality restaurants, world class bars, galleries, retail stores and nightlife. A newly renovated Terrace house in a commanding position, 2 min walk through a charming lane to bustling Lygon St. 5 min walk to Brunswick St, Fitzroy and 10 min walk to the CBD.
The house features high ceilings and beautiful polished floorboards. Double brick house with hydronic heating the house is comfortable both in summer and winter.
Downstairs offers an open plan living room opening to a dining space. There is a brand new, stylish and well appointed kitchen. Kitchen has a fully stocked pantry to get you cooking should you desire. There is a full bathroom complete with bathtub downstairs along with a Euro laundry. The kitchen opens up onto an outdoor area with outdoor table and BBQ.
Beds - all beds have very comfortable mattresses. We use only flax linen and 1000 plus thread count sheets for an all natural and luxurious sleeping experience. We also have an array of pillows for you to choose from as well.
House plants - the house abounds in natural indoor plants to purify the air and ofcourse keep the place looking great!
There is a 6 seater dining table perfect to host all of your guests!
The bathrooms are stocked with high quality Aveda products for your bathing pleasure. Luxuriate in the deep bath tub, we have stocked bath salts for you.
Euro laundry with washer and dryer also includes cleaning and laundry products for guests staying a while longer. The laundry is located downstairs just before the bathroom
Working spaces - We have hi-speed wifi as well.
Hydronic heaters - give a fantastic non drying radiant heat in the cooler months
Car parking - we have 1 street permit that allows you to park directly in front of the house for added convenience. There are plenty of 2 hr and all night parking spots available on the street as well.
Families - There is plenty of space for families to spread out in the house and if you’re travelling with a baby/toddler we’ve got you covered with a portacot/change table (stored in the King bedroom cupboard), a toddler’s potty, toilet step and a high chair. We also have plastic plates and cutlery. There is Carlton Gardens which has a playground 3 min walk from the house. The Melbourne Museum provides both indoor and outdoor entertainment for little ones too (5 mins walk).

Known for the famous Italian precinct (Lygon Street) where you will find Italian restaurants galore (most have been around for 40-50 years), rooftop bars, vintage clothing stores and amazing eateries.
families. With a multitude of parks and playgrounds it is a destination for the young and the young at heart. Being well serviced by multiple tram lines, Carlton is an ideal place to base yourself for travelling to outer suburbs.

Melbourne is known for its iconic tram service dating back to the early 1800s. Luckily for you staying at Rathdowne Terrace you will have 2 x tram lines at your doorstep.
There is a parking permit for 1 x car which can be used on the street directly outside the house. Carlton Gardens, Melbourne Museum and the Exhibition Building are located on Nicholson St, a 5 min walk from the house. Equally famous Lygon St is a quick 2 minute walk through a quiet lane.
Rathdowne Terrace is located a mere 5 min walk to Brunswick Street, Fitzroy a vibrant, bustling and every changing destination. Boasting a plethora of local labels and designers of fashion and homewares, and a multitude of bars, bakeries, cafes and restaurants.
Carlton is a great place from which to explore neighbouring suburbs (only a stone throw away) of Fitzroy, Collingwood and also a quick 10-15 min tram ride into the CBD.
Hip Smith Street is a 10-15 min walk away.
