Updated with rustic boho style, this open, innovative space will delight and impress your guests and add an adventurous upgrade to your Central Oregon stay. The living room has high, beamed ceilings, oriental carpet, a large flat-screen TV and a wood stove to keep things cozy. You'll dine under triangular windows and the soaring curved wall that comes with the geodesic territory. An adorable, compact kitchen sports a breakfast bar and stainless-steel appliances-all you'll need for easy dining in.

One queen bedroom on the main level provides an inviting private space with additional queen sleeper sofa in cozy living area. You might claim the upstairs loft queen for yourself, for its groovy proximity to the honeycombed wood ceiling of the top of the dome and big triangular windows to the outside world. With a backyard fenced for privacy, Dome Home offers a seasonal outdoor shower, barbecue, and bubbling hot tub. A quick car trip takes you to the outdoor activities of La Pine, the metropolitan shopping and dining of Bend, skiing at Mount Bachelor, or hiking the amazing geological areas of this region. You'll be pleased to return to country quiet at the end of an adventurous day, soaking under the stars next to your home sweet Dome Home!

This geodesic house outside of Bend was such a cool and memorable stay. The interior is incredibly unique, full of natural light, and just feels special the moment you walk in. Each morning we were greeted by deer and a little black rabbit roaming the yard—such a peaceful way to start the day!The location was perfect for us—easy access to Bend, but south enough to make our next leg into the Umpqua Forest a breeze. The inside was spotless and well-kept, and while the hot tub wasn’t plugged in when we arrived, it heated up quickly once we got it going. We didn’t try the outdoor shower, but it probably works the same way.Fun fact: even though the host mentioned there wasn’t a DVD player, there actually is one—so if you’re feeling nostalgic, swing by the last remaining Blockbuster in Bend and make a night of it. (Yes, it’s still open in 2025!)A few things future guests might want to know:– There’s no AC, so you’ll want to open windows in warmer weather.– The yard is pretty wild, but it fits with the rural setting.– There’s a small, covered floor duct with a wooden platform over it—no issue for us, but we used it as a shoe rack just to be safe.– No microwave, and the bidet isn’t hooked up to water.Overall, a unique and peaceful stay that gave us everything we needed.
