HORIZONS 424
Horizons 424 is located in Rydges Snowy Mountains Resort, on the foreshore of Lake Jindabyne and minutes' walk from Nuggets Crossing and central Jindabyne. This privately managed apartment has access to all resort amenities and boasts the most magnificent views across the lake and spectacular mountain views. We have put together everything to provide you with a truly alpine experience that is second to none. A perfectly positioned apartment, and access to a heated swimming pool, bar, restaurant and tennis courts onsite.

This apartment sleeps 6 people and has 2 large balconies that look over Lake Jindabyne, a perfect setting to enjoy the splendor of the Snowy Mountains. You will have complete access to the whole apartment which is split across three levels. It is strictly no smoking, including on the balconies.

The spacious lounge dining room is well equipped with a comfortable lounge that doubles as an extra Queen Bed. There is everything a guest could want, a smart TV, WiFi, DVC player, DVDs and a small selection of books and games. The lounge is air conditioned and provides a perfect environment whatever the weather. There is enough seating for 6 people at the dining table.
Our home has a recently renovated kitchen with everything you will need to cook up a storm if you so desire. The kitchen has a full size oven and ceramic hob, a dishwasher, fridge and microwave. We have provided a good range of cookware, crockery and cutlery as well as a toaster, kettle and coffee machine. On arrival there will be a selection of coffee and tea, but you may wish to purchase extra as this apartment is not serviced during your stay.

The mid level of apartment 424 (up 5 stairs) has a bathroom with a combined bath / shower, toilet, sink plus laundry consisting of a washing machine, tumble drier and laundry tub. It comes fully equipped with towels, shampoo, conditioner, washing powder and toilet rolls.

The first bedroom is also located on the mid level. This bedroom has 2 single beds, electric heating and a good amount of wardrobe space. It is perfectly suited to children and young adults. All linen is provided in the cost of the apartment.

MASTER BEDROOM
The master bedroom is truly magnificent and is air conditioned. It has a cathedral ceiling and its own large balcony it is a perfect escape to enjoy what is on offer in the Snowy Mountains. The King Size ‘Dream’ bed is very comfortable and spacious for a good night’s sleep. There is also a TV. All linen is provided.
For guests who may have to work while away, there is large desk and chair so that you can set up your office and also have great views over the lake. There is a built-in wardrobe for all your storage needs.

The second bathroom has a corner spa bath. Towels, shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer is provided as standard.

CAR PARKING
Apartment 424 has 2 private parking spaces, each with a parking bollard to secure the spaces. The parking is under tennis court midway opposite Block 5. In the ski season there is an overflow car parking on the grass down the ramp between Block 5 and Block 4.

AMENITIES
Guests staying in apartment 424 have complete access to all the amenities in the resort. The heated swimming pool is open from 8am to 8pm daily. For anyone wishing to play tennis you will need to book the court through Rydges Reception. A beautician is available for anyone wishing to have a facial, massage, manicure, pedicure, waxing and body scrubs. These services are privately operated, and guests are requested to contact the beautician direct.

Rydges operate Squires Bar and Bistro and Embers Restaurant, offering a wide range of dishes to suit everyone’s tastes. Embers restaurant is open Tuesdays to Saturdays and bookings can be made at Rydges Reception. Rydges offer a takeaway service from the bar and room service orders can be collected from there too. The Squires Bar has Happy Hour from 4.30pm to 6.30pm daily. The Beer Garden is always a winner for guests, so sit by the fire and enjoy a relaxing drink. Rydges reception is not available to our guest for other additional services.

JINDABYNE
Both Nuggets Crossing and Jindabyne old town are thriving centres all year around. Besides the usual ski and snowboard outlets there are numerous restaurants, cafes and gift shops as well as a bakery, Woolworths supermarket and Jindabyne butchery.
Jindabyne is a perfect hub for all year round activities and is a jewel in the crown of the Snowy Mountains.

SURROUNDINGS
The apartment is ideally located at any time of year, whether you ski, snowboard, mountain bike, fish, walk, or just want to relax in the Alpine landscape.

Relaxing and quiet but with all the amenities

Great location- loved the view of the lake and easy walking to town and walking around the lake. Also enjoyed the inside pool and having access to tennis court for free. Ticked all the boxes for us however if you can’t walk up stairs then not the apartment for you.

The apartment is our family holiday home, we open it to guest to enjoy Jindabyne and the beautiful Snowy Mountains. My wife Kay and I are semi retired and while we do not live at the apartment, we and our family visit regularly. I am a keen skier, bush walker, mountain biker and also enjoy a swim or paddle board on the lake in the summer. As well as information about the apartment feel free to message me through the Stayz app for ideas about the winter resorts, walks. mountain bike trails, local cafe / restaurants. or other activities in the mountains. We will respond promptly to guest communications through the Stayz app.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We love Jindabyne and the Snowy Mountains all year around.
Jindabyne for a small town has all the amenities of a much larger place with lots of restaurants, bars, cafe's plus shops for all of your alpine adventures (winter and summer) and other needs.

The other facilities in and around Jindabyne for all the family include a Cinema, Craft Brewery, Spa / Wellness centers, National Snowsports Training Centre, Wildbrumby Schnapps Distillery, Disk Golf (next to the resort), Lakeside watersports equipment hire, Escape rooms and more.

The mountains are beautiful at all times of the year as you can see from photos that I've taken.
My favorite locations are on the slopes after a good snowfall, walking on the main range and enjoying the beautiful carpet of spring flowers, mountain biking on the Thredbo Valley trail ( I'm a bit old for the Thredbo Cannon Ball run), going for a drive up the Perisher Valley to Charlotte Pass to enjoy the fabulous mountain views, and having a short walk along the lake then relaxing on the balcony with a well earned drink at the end of the day.

We are very pleased to invite guests into our alpine home and especially enjoy the high cathedral ceilings and ambience of the upstairs main bedroom and the recently renovated living room / kitchen.
We also have one of the best views in Jindbyne that can be enjoyed from both of our two large balconies overlooking the lake.
