Hello! Iâm Cindy, your superhost! I grew up in the small town of Sussex, New Brunswick, in eastern Canada. When I turned 20, I moved to beautiful Prince Edward Island and began my career shortly after with an international consumer goods company. This job allowed me to travel from coast to coast, and my family and I eventually relocated to Ontario with the company.
During my travels, particularly to sunny destinations, I often dreamed of retiring in a tropical location someday. I have always enjoyed staying at cozy bed and breakfasts, which inspired my dream of owning one myself. A friend of mine has a place in Saint Kitts and frequently invited me to visit. A couple of years ago, I finally had the opportunity to go with my partner, who had visited several times and was even considering buying property there.
The tiny island, just 37 kilometers long with a population of 47,000 (not to mention over 60,000 monkeys!), felt like the perfect place for us. We realized our dreams aligned, so in February 2024, I decided to buy a property there and run it as an Airbnb. Itâs been an interesting journey managing it from Canada, but I am pleased with its success.
