My family stayed at this beautiful lake house and had a wonderful stay in June. We enjoyed the lake with sitting outside and enjoying the view and the lovely landscaping. There was a lot of space to recreate, too. We would recommend this home for a group of 4 who would appreciate easy access to groceries and downtown Nanaimo. The hosts were very accommodating and available as we needed to connect with them. I would highly recommend this property and hope to visit again!

The home, the grounds, the views of the lake, the outdoor seating area, and everything about the place was amazing! We loved our stay. A truly beautiful piece of property right on the lake.

The place was outstanding They thought if everything to make our stay the best it could be. It got so that we spent more time at the rental than we initially planned, because it was so comfortable. Our hosts were very good with communication. 4 levels of outdoor space was a bonus with each level offering its own purpose. Parking worked for us but it’s a tad tight if you have a larger vehicle but to be expected due to the nature of the area in the hills. Kitchen was outfitted with anything you’d need and the indoor space was fabulous and tastefully decorated. Can’t wait to return !

Dream vacation

This property gave everyone in our family exactly what they needed for a getaway! This house was the perfect mix of fun and relaxing. We were able to leave and explore Nanaimo, but we spent most of the time soaking up the lake life! Everything was perfectly clean, spacious, very comfortable, kid friendly, and they had everything we needed to enjoy the lake! We will definitely visit again!
In the lake every day!

Hidden gem in the middle of town

We had a wonderful stay at the lakefront suite. It was exactly as described, and very clean. The location is lovely, it's tucked away on a quiet street, yet close to everything. The hot tub was a treat. The four of us (two adults, two kids) stayed three nights and we were very comfortable (it felt like home, only nicer!). I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely spot for a relaxing getaway.

The suite was clean and comfortable and the hosts were communicative without being intrusive. Check in/out was easy. Bed was comfortable and setting was tranquil. Hot tub was clean and functioned well. For those traveling without a vehicle: Taxi/u-ride (local uber alternative) from ferry terminal was about $40 with tip and Grand Cru restaurant & Whiskey bar is a 20min walk from the property (some hills), whre the service and food were good.

Fantastic get-away

We were looking for a lakefront vacation paradise to spend a few days relaxing and exploring the island. This beautiful suite in a great location had everything we were hoping for. So many lovely spots to sit outside and enjoy the view. A dock complete with a variety of water toys (I enjoyed kayaking on the lake in the early mornings). The outdoor hot tub was a great way to end the day. The suite itself was very well appointed with everything we could need and more. The bed was comfortable, the place was quiet, the kitchen was well stocked and the shower was very nice. The attention to detail was the best I’ve experienced, and I’ve stayed at a lot of places around the world. The hosts were very helpful and kind. You could tell they cared and wanted us to have a great experience. And we did!
On the dock.
Another great place to soak up the view and relax.
