What a lovely place to spend a long weekend! Very comfortable house for our family get together. Located on a quiet street with plenty of parking. The elevator was great for getting stuff upstairs. Lots of room for everyone to spread out.

Great House

Really, really enjoyed our stay!! House was perfect for our group of friends! The grill definitely needs new burners, but other than that house was perfect!

Early June stay

Perfect distance to the beach. Lots of room to spread out between adults and children. The house supplied most needs. The kitchen was very well equipped. We brought are own beach towels and beach chairs.

Fun in the sun! ☀

This is the perfect place to host a large group. A 2min walk to the beach, with lots of space to choose from. Beds were surprisingly comfortable, and the kitchen was decently stocked. We rented golf carts, bikes and a beach tent on our stay. All of the small shops were a 3 minute drive up the road which was perfect! 3gulls ice cream shop was delicious (and busy)! All in all it was the perfect vacation.

Perfect Place for a Group & Easy Walk to Beach

We had a great time! We loved that each room had their own bathroom to use. It was spacious for a group of our size (12 adults with small children), and the walk to the beach was so easy.

Excellent Family Beach Trip

Wonderful high front porch. Loved the hight and spacious under house parking. Clean interior and layout. Kitchen had all the pot & pans etc. we needed for everything. We cooked meat on the grill on the back deck a couple times. The grill, though functional, needs a little TLC on the burners soon. The cabinet ice maker was a dream to have! All beds were comfy enough for our "kids" and their kids too. Super size washer and dryer were great to have. There was a outdoor changing area on the parking level that once was a functional shower. (Our son stayed there a few years ago) I wholeheartedly recommend it!

What a great place to stay! First time ever we didn’t have to buy ice because the property has an ice maker!!! Very close to a beach access! Will stay here again for sure!!!

Great house & location - not pet free

The house was perfect location and size. I was disappointed that there had been pets in the home. I had to clean and try to get the pet smell from the house and I had 2 guests with allergies. I will be sure to inquire further on any future rentals on vrbo

Great place for families

Property was well kept and everything functioned as it should. Edisto is a very quite and relaxing location for families which is exactly what we were looking for. Be sure to check out beaches on south side of Island for calmer waters and better views. Botany Bay is one of the most unique places you will ever see.

Perfect for a small family vacation

This was our first vacation with my husbands family and our baby, and it was amazing. The walk to the beach was so fast, and there was never a ton of people! The house has tons of space, so we didn’t feel crowded, and it was very easy to keep an eye on the toddler. It was just an all around lovely trip, and Edisto was the perfect island for a relaxing beach vacation.

Wonderful stay

We saw the great reviews and lucked out with a last minute booking. The house was terrific for our large group and we had a wonderful stay. It’s an open layout with a great kitchen and the bedrooms each with a bath made it very comfortable. The property manager was very responsive and great. I would definitely recommend this house and I hope we can make it back again someday!

Nice place, with problems

The home was beautiful and in a great location. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and visiting. However, neither the cable TV nor internet worked. I contacted the owner and neither problem was resolved, while we were there.

Loved our stay!

We Absolutely LOVED our stay at this house called Rest in Peace! Very clean an Spacious, the only complaint was the up stairs AC didnt work the first nite but they fixed it the next day! We Loved ALL the bathrooms and another nice thing was the Elevator!! having a person who relies on a walker to walk made it sooo nice to not have to go on all them steps! We'd def would like to come back to this house again!
