Found on Scenic View Drive, Wattle Bird Shack is our peaceful holiday house located in the township of Second Valley on the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula. The deck was built to capture the stunning sea views and rolling hills. You'll never want to leave as you'll spend your days reading in front of the fire, drinking coffee, hiking, sunbathing, swimming, resting and enjoying the local native wildlife - and like us you'll never want to leave.

We have 3 properties in South Australia that we manage in the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Second Valley.
Each property has been uniquely renovated and designed based on our interests and what we think fits with the specific location and property type.
We get great joy out of hosting guests at our properties and hope that each guest appreciates and enjoys the properties as we do.

My wife and I have spent many family holidays at Second Valley and the Fleurieu Peninsula.
The Fleurieu Peninsula has a magical feeling due to its beautiful landscape and coast line. The drive from Adelaide to Second Valley is an experience in itself boasting unforgettable views and wildlife.
Second Valley is a hidden gem, containing a very small and friendly community, private beach, jetty and bush walks at the doorstep of Wattle Bird Shack. The view of the sea and hills from the deck is invaluable. It feels rural and remote, but with only a 15 minute drive to the closest major town, Normanville.
When we stay, we never want to leave.
