Had high hopes as all the reviews on other websites were decent except one. Host didnât respond until I contacted VRBO. As we headed there, one of the main roads was completely gone (construction) without warning. There is no service out that way so we had to guess a new route to make it to the rental. The roads there were winding and some were even gravel. The furniture outside was worn and broken. The picnic table looked like it had been in a fire. The front porch was being held up by a crooked cinder block and was warped. The screen in the door was broken. I fixed it the best I could. I was unaware that the only AC was a tiny window unit that was dusty and covered in bugs. The filter light was also on. It rained the night we stayed and there was a leak in the bedroom causing one pillow and bedspread to be wet. There were dead bugs under all of the mattresses and cobwebs EVERYWHERE. I was expecting a few here and there because it is in the woods but the amount was more than acceptable. We woke up covered in bug bites (I have pictures of the bites but thereâs not enough room to add them). The only thing good about the rental was the WIFI. We rented the place for 2 nights and we ended up leaving after the first night without a refund as we were miserable. They say that they have someone come clean it before/after the stays but this place hasnât been actually cleaned in months. If you still decide to rent this cabin⊠good luck.
