in Waimea (aka Kamuela), a charming highland town known for its mountain
views, rolling hills, and cool, crisp air. From here, enjoy world-class

performances, museum visits, ranch experiences, artisans’ farmers markets,
and unforgettable stargazing. Waimea also offers unique curio shops, cozy

Awaa Place, our two-story Hawaiian ‘ohana, features 1,700 sf of interior
living space with four bedrooms, three baths, a living room, kitchen, and
multi-purpose room. The layout features separate upstairs and downstairs
units with private entrances, perfect for families looking for a balance of
shared spaces and individual comfort. Inside, enjoy elegant wood floors, teak
and koa wood cabinetry, granite countertops, marble, and handmade tile work.
Conveniently situated between Kona, Hilo, and Kohala, our cottage is just a
short scenic drive from the Gold Coast beaches. It serves as the perfect base
for enjoying Waimea and exploring the Big Island—a refreshing escape from
typical tourist paths, promising a truly unique Hawaiian experience.
