What an amazing experience at Villa Picon. From my initial enquiries and correspondence with Luis I was confident this place was going to be perfect. He was quick to respond to all enquiries and always friendly. On arriving, we were greeted by Nico who showed us around. There was guacamole (the best I’ve ever tasted) waiting for us made by Ana and we felt immediately at home. There is so much to do just at the villa, sea kayaking, body boarding, play in the pool. We were able to watch the baby turtles hatch in the evening and we also saw a turtle come ashore to lay eggs (we feel incredibly lucky). The kids loved the pool, it was nice and warm and the perfect temperature for playing in all day. We visited Puerto Moreles, Playa del Carmen and Chichén Itza. Aside from that we didn’t leave the villa as it was so perfect! I wish we could visit again. What a magical place

Our stay at Laguna Azul was exceptional. From the communication with the owner (Tracey), the property manager (Roberto), and the team that came in regularly to ensure the garden and pool remained clean and tidy. Spacious, light and very well equipped this villa perfectly suited the demands and requirements for our family of 5. Our 3 boys age 10, 6 and 4 found the pool and garden amazing (perfect depth!) and the close proximity to the beautiful beach made the location perfect. In the evenings we made the regular walk along the beach to eat in the local restaurants. El Nicho, Bianco and Habanero became favourites with us all. We can not recommend this villa for a family holiday enough. We travelled from the UK, staying for a week and couldn't have been happier. Thank you Tracy. We really do hope to come back!! Adios!
