We have just returned from a fantastic holiday in this villa with friends and family. We were greeted by Pierpaolo with local wine and pastries. The villa was great and very spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. The outside BBQ area was lovely next to the pool. The whole outdoor area is amazing with lots of seating in the sun and shade - beware of the mosquitos tho! This villa is ideal if you want to get away from it all, if you want to see more of the island you may need to hire a car. We managed with the local train and taxis. I would thoroughly recommend Pierpaolo and his villa, he was always available if we needed to contact him and was very helpful. Thank you for a fabulous holiday.

We had the perfect holiday. We are a very busy family and rarely get chance to even eat at the same time due to rugby, football, judo, brownies etc. Villa Donzell was the perfect place to relax and have fun. Very private, surrounded by nature but a short drive from all the amenities. Excellent!

This property is even nicer than it looks in the photos - and the photos are lovely! Everything was first class and we will definitely stay here again if we return to Alghero. The apartment is very well furnished and helpfully stocked with all the basics, and it was immaculate. The location is great too - a short walk to the old town, harbour, supermarkets etc - and only a 10 minute drive from the airport. The fantastic balcony is perfect for enjoying the good weather and beautiful sunsets. What a view! Irene was wonderful and she very kindly provided a bottle of wine and some lovely treats for our arrival, which was very much appreciated. All in all, a perfect stay!

The flat was very nice and clean; the four of us fit easily and it had everything necessary for staying and cooking. The beach within a 5-minute walk is quite good, though it was rather busy all the time (except for early mornings). The apartment is situated outside of the city and is pretty far from the supermarkets. We had to hire a car because of this, but it was well worth it, as we were able to visit many fantastic places in Sardinia.
