We can’t praise this property enough. The location, the layout, the facilities, the cleanliness, the communication and the garden were all perfect. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Would love to come back for a longer stay. Thank you so much.

We had a lovely weeks stay in this well equpped cottage. Owners were attentive and checked in a couple of times. Cottage ideally placed for visiting family nearby.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is cosy and had everything we needed. Perfect base for exploring the local area. Pilton village is beautiful and very quiet.

Cheddar and the surrounding area is such a lovely part of the country and the Gatehouse matched that. The bed was large and very comfortable, the lounge perfect for snuggling away the evenings and the shower particuarly good! Parking also could not have been easier. Do note though, a lot of the roads in the area are narrow and twisty without footpaths so a small car is preferable and beware when walking them.

Superb lodge in a well maintained site and lovely location with beautiful views from the patio. All in all a perfect break

A lovely little property ideal for two on a working farm and with a grassy garden with sheep grazing in the next field . Very comfortable armchair and sofa!

Where shall i start, what a lovely, homely and quaint cottage. The hosts Mary and Huw were friendly and very welcoming. The location was amazing to say the least . We had a wonderful stay and will book again for a summer break. Truly agreat little find. Your guests Warren and Vanda

Beatiful, characterful house, wished we were staying longer. Very comfortable. Paticularly appreciated the cotton bedlinen as i dont cope well with synthetic. One to keep in mind for another visit.
