  • Great location, beautiful views.

"We enjoyed our stay, arrived at this sunny location and greeted by a cool bottle of wine from their grapes. Cottage over looks vineyard, fields and has wonderful mountain views. Sunsets are fabulous. We even had deer outside the window. Cottage is well maintained, nothing else needed to cook or bbq--its all there.Full size refrigerator and awesome gas range/oven. Cottage is clean, great linens and towels are provided. The location is great for exploring around island or shopping in Comox/Courtney, close to highway but far enough away that traffic noise is not heard. Perfect place for two... We will return, as well we have recommended this property to our friends."

  • The property was a beautiful waterside location, quiet yet full of life.

"We so enjoyed staying with Sue. The location is two minutes outside the city and well worth the time to spend our stay beside the water or in the water. BC's waterways are certainly an attraction unto themselves for us from Ontario. Sue coordinated kayak rentals for us in town (where she was working) and helped with may other suggestions. The area has lots to do and we'd love to return for a longer stay. The Wilson family."

  • Adored this place!

"It's not too strong a word to say that my husband and I ADORED this guest house! We stayed for two nights while exploring the area, including Strathcona Provincial Park, and were sorry to have to leave. Not only is the space as bright, whimsical and spacious as it appears in the pictures, but our hosts thoughtfully provided everything we could need to be comfortable during our stay (cookies and muffins upon arrival, lots of fluffy white towels, kitchenware, access to a grill). We particularly enjoyed the big hot tub after a long hike, and I loved sitting out on our private deck overlooking the charming back yard. Although the guest house is located in a residential area with other homes close by, the neighborhood is very quiet and the orientation of the guest house toward the sizeable back yard make it feel more removed than it actually is. Our hosts also communicated well with us before our arrival and made it very easy to access the space by providing a key code so that we didn't have to worry about connecting with them to get keys. Although they live next to the guest house, we saw them only once, as we were arriving, when they were leaving and stopped the car to say hello and welcome us. Bottom line: we truly can't recommend this place highly enough and would book it again in a second."

  • Comfortable and Quiet

"Very enjoyable stay. Was down island for business and thoroughly enjoyed the convenience and comforts of the suite. Easy access and plenty of space allowed me lots of room for all my gear. A really nice touch was the large queen bed behind french doors. After a day and a half of ferry travel and driving I had my best sleep in days. Even managed to get a load of laundry done before I hit the road again. Thanks Daryl!"
