  • Exumas one of the most beautiful places on Earth!

"One word can describe our visit to Exuma Cays "Amazing" . My Daughter and I visited BlackPoint Cay and stayed in Ida's two bedroom cottage. She was a gracious host and owner. Everything was perfect. Upon arrival she greeted us at the airport with our rented Golf Cart true VIP status. The cottages are very well decorated and with all amenities as a home away from home. Views from the cottages simply breathtaking with a gorgeous sunset every day. She also arranged a boat rental that we used for the day to visit the swimming pigs and other Cays in the area. Simply beautiful area The EXUMAS! Cant wait to go back. Warm friendly people on Black Point we had an awesome vacation. Thank you Ida look forward to returning soon."

  • Spectacular!

"Our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 little ones under 7) recently spent a fabulous week at this amazing home and property. It is even more beautiful than the photo gallery depicts. Everything about Hart House is gorgeous and ideally set up for the perfect family holiday. The pool, deck, gazebo, bar and bar-b-ques are all outstanding features. We ate all but one meal outside. The beach is five steps down from the pool area. Yes, it is right there and it is beautiful! We were so impressed, every day, with the design and planning that went into the home and its location on the beach. It doesn't get better than this. As a family, we have stayed at an all-inclusive resort in Turks and Caicos. We all agree that this vacation was far more amazing and relaxing. Having our own kitchen meant that we didn't have to get the little ones out to a restaurant for breakfast. There are several very good family-friendly restaurants close by, however. We enjoyed a delicious and beautifully presented meal, in-home, catered by the Nature's Best Grill Team. Thank you so much for a very special evening. Special thanks to Onike, from The Good Life Bahamas, for all your care and attention, from airport pick-up to stocking the kitchen for us and setting up our grand-kids with everything they needed. Daily housekeeping was exceptional and such a treat for all. Our thanks to John G. You have such a perfect property and we appreciate you sharing it with us more than you could ever know. I have run out of words to describe this truly lovely property and our wonderful holiday. We all hope to return to Hart House on the most beautiful beach in Exuma."

  • Fantastic beachfront vacation home

"I've wanted to go to Exuma for years, having heard rave reviews of its beaches, above all Tropic of Cancer Beach, so I was excited when I found the Pines in my research and saw the opportunity to actually live on the beach during my Exuma vacation with two other friends. The house is amazing. The balcony affords beautiful views of the beach and a cool spot to remain during the hottest part of the day, but one can sun oneself on the deck below on on the sunchairs by the steps that lead down on the beach. There are two ensuite bedrooms of comfortable size facing the beach with airconditioning and an airconditioner in the living room/dining/kitchen areas, which is open plan. The house is decorated nicely. All appliances worked efficiently and the kitchen is well stocked with kitchenware. There's a flatscreen television with Direct TV. Melanie was easy to contact, provided clear instructions and advice about how to get to the house and how to enjoy our stay, including tour and restuarant tips. She conducted business efficiently and professionally, promptly refunding our safety deposit and thoughtfully arranged a gift of sparkling wine for us in the refrigerator. I strongly recommend the Pines for a laid back vacation getaway. The property is not in the middle of the main town, George Town, so one has to drive 30 - 40 minutes there. Some may find this a deterrent, but if your main wish is to relax by the beach, outside of what little action one can find in "town", the Pines is perfect. If you want to drink and party in town, the curves of Exumas roads and the largely unlit sections outside of the main settlements may be unsettling for the first time visitor/driver at night--you may not want to drive back and forth in the evening. Luckily, Santana's and some other establishments are close in WilliamsTown (5 -10 minutes ). The only minor complaints one can have about tThe Pines come with the realities of vacationing in a rural, developing setting: the road leading to the house is VERY bad. drive slow and spare your tires. 2)as night falls, mosquitoes and sandflies (no seeums) emerge. keep the doors closed and keep Off handy. 3)the house is on well water, which can often stink because of sulfur content. 4) power may periodically go for short periods. This is common in Bahamas in the summer, and happened twice while we were there, but it came on quickly. I'd definitely return and recommend to others."

  • Perfect trip !

"Thank you to Denise & Phil for their incredible house in paradise. Since our first contact until our last day in their house, they were the perfect hosts. The house is just perfect. We enjoyed taking our breakfast outside every morning. The beach club at the resort was awesome. The pool was amazing. It was the low season so we had the pool for ourselves everyday. Thank you again Denise & Phil for great vacations !"
