  • Excellent Stay!

"We had a wonderful time at Villas Del Mar. Jaime was very good to deal with and quick to respond to any questions we had and the condo was great. The location of the condo being beachfront was amazing and cannot be beat! It is about 25 minutes from the airport and 35 from Old San Juan. Grocery stores are nearby as are some pretty delicous BBQ food stands. The grounds of the complex are well kept and the security guards are very friendly and helpful too! I would stay here again for sure."

  • Highly Recommended!

"We want to first thank you for opening up your beautiful home to us. We had all the comforts of home and that made our vacation an enjoyable one. The view from the balcony had us in awe and we started every morning on the balcony, drinking our coffee, and ended every night with big smiles on our faces. Check in and check out were a breeze and we always felt at ease because of how prompt the owner was in answering any and all questions. The beaches were definitely a plus. Boqueron is truly a beach town but had grocery stores and the like within 10 minutes driving distance. We were able to explore the western part of the island and highly recommend you take in the beauty the island has to offer. Playa Sucia and the Lighthouse are definite stops while staying here. We also recommend visiting the waterfall at San Sebastian. By the way, the jump from the cliff there was exhilarating. We will definitely be looking to stay at your house the next time we decide to visit PR. Again, thank you for making our vacation a memorable one! Dan & Jen Castaneda and Family."

  • Perfect introduction to Puerto Rico

"Our group of 8 stayed here on our first visit to Puerto Rico and it was the best introduction we could possibly have hoped for. Matt was very responsive in setting us up, and Diana was great with check-in, check-out and any needs during the week. The house is really great and is probably better in person than in photos. It is not lavishly decorated, but really comfortable and we never felt crowded. The really expansive yard, pool, gazebo and views really make this place utterly outstanding. It was difficult for us to get started on our day trips until about noon each day because the setting was so great that we just hung out at the house. We really enjoyed the local scene at Crashboat Beach on a crowded Sunday afternoon, and also enjoyed Jobos beach in Isabella (look for the Postillos stand on 4466 on the way), both very close. Rincon was also great for surf lessons (Puntas Surf School). It was easy to travel on our longer day trips to La Playeula (wow!) and Batey Zipline Adventure, both well worth it. We really enjoyed being off the beaten path of everything, yet having our own slice of paradise. It was a great balance of local flavor mixed with tourist oriented activities. There is really so much to do that we missed Wilderness and Shacks Beach, horseback riding, waterfalls, among many other things. Don't miss the beach down below the house, it is a hidden gem for early or late walks. This is a great place, complete with iguanas that hang out in the trees below that you can check on every day. We are already looking into our next trip!"

  • Perfect Spot for Relaxing

"The inviting photo of rocking chairs on the condo balcony persuaded us to choose this particular unit in Rincon -- and we never regretted our decision for a minute! As others have remarked, its location is perfect: across the street from the lovely public beach with gentle waves and unparalleled sunsets, within walking distance of excellent restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops in the downtown area, with easy driving to the beautiful but more intimidating "surfer" beaches and also not far from the grocery store and farmers' markets. We could swim every morning at the public beach and then often explored by car in the afternoons -- to other beaches, to the nearby small city of Mayaguez, to the mountains to the east. The condo unit was clean, comfortable, a great place to come home to after active days in the sun. It was a very good fit for us. We loved having a washer and dryer right there in the unit (great for drying beach towels) and the eat-in kitchen and the comfortable sofas and -- of course - the rocking chairs! We particularly enjoyed spending time on that west-facing balcony, overlooking the street and the park beyond, watching the schoolchildren and fishermen and joggers in the morning, the cars and bicycles in the afternoon -- and on Saturday night watching the horseback riders go past and listening to music and singing from the park. The owner was very helpful and easy to contact when we had a question or an issue. We three "older" folks had some initial problems working the television set and he was more than patient with us! And when the swimming pool equipment was making an ominous noise, he contacted a person onsite immediately and the problem was solved. We would definitely like to come back and stay here again -- it was the perfect place to escape winter!"
