  • Best of both world's

"We recently stayed in this hidden gem and could not have been happier. My boys and I had access to some great surfing and hiking while the girls could lay on the beach and get pampered. From Jungle tours to mani's and pedi's it was one of our favorite family vacations of all time. The staff operating the home was like family, the views from the balcony were as advertised....spectacular!! If it's your first trip to Costa Rica I highly recommend letting them take care of everything. The house itself is new so there's no surprises and with little touches like free portable wi-fi and local cell phone to use it felt like home. Flamingo Beach and the access to it made for a real surprise; it was much more accessible than we thought by looking on-line. I wouldn't rent anywhere else. We'll be back and are already planning it."

  • If you are thinking about it, do it!

"Can't say enough about how positive our experience was with this rental. From start to finish everything was wonderful. We usually go to Hawaii but decided to try something new. Once I saw the ad for this condo we decided this was where we wanted to go. Elyne was wonderful and sent us lots of information about the condo and the nearby activities and restaurants. We got there earlier than we were supposed to check in but the gal at the office welcomed us and let us put our luggage in there and use the resort. As it turned out the housekeeper was done with the upstairs so she let us drop our luggage and relax on the patio. Such a beautiful condo and amazing views. So nice to be able to settle into a padded lounge chair with an umbrella every day. If you get hot you either jump into the ocean or the pool. Full service bar serves great drinks including a welcome one, or bring your own. The grounds are always meticulously clean and there is lots of security so you feel very safe (although I felt safe everywhere I went in Costa Rica). They do not have a restaurant on site but Coco Loco is a very short walk down the beach and has reasonable food. You can get it to go or they said they could deliver also. We loved their seared ahi tuna tacos. We also liked Angelina's and especially La Sodita Italiana. We did the Palos Verde boat tour and it was really a nice day. Saw lots of crocodiles and monkeys. Scarlet Macaws and lots of other beautiful birds. Lots of large iguanas and "Jesus lizards". The included lunch was very good and the pottery demonstration also nice. Unfortunately my wife and got sick, a nasty URI that we likely caught on the plane. We weren't able to do a lot of the other things we had planned like zip lining and scuba diving. It was still nice to be able to lounge on such a beautiful beach. I should give out cab driver, Jose, a shout out. We got his number from the front desk. He would come quickly and seemed to know everyone. We would walk into crowded restaurants and he'd manage to get us seated right away. We were going to dinner and my wife last minute decided she couldn't make it and was hoping for some chicken soup. Jose dropped us at the restaurant. When we called him to pick us up he stopped at a restaurant that he knew made chicken soup and brought a bowl for my wife. Really nice people. They did have a super bowl party that was great with wings, sliders, calamari and more. The last night we had a lobster dinner on the beach."

  • Comfortable and relaxing

"The condo was very clean and updated. Private beach was wonderful with fireflies and tiny crabs at night. We recommend renting a car as any nightlife is a 20 minute drive away to tamarindo. Renee was very helpful, she'll hook you up with a great car rental company or any tours you could want."

  • Quiet. Clean. Tropical.

"Enjoyed a week here in early January. Good restaurants to pick from. Quiet, safe and relaxing. Not a big party scene which suits us just fine"
