  • Beyond our expecations

"An impeccable home. The view, layout, every angle and detail were all stunning and masterfully designed. We came to see Costa Rica, but after settling in here, we couldn't think of good reasons to leave the place. All the info provided to us by the hosts was accurate. The giant kitchen was perfect for us. We were about a ten minute drive to the nearest grocery store, and also close to beautiful Conchal Beach. Very worth it. Highly recommeded."

  • Loved our stay!

"We absolutely loved our stay at Palms 22! It is a beautiful property and the service is fantastic. Alexandria, the concierge, took care of our car rental, groceries, and a sunset sail. The condo is well decorated and roomy. The beds are some of the most comfortable we have experienced in our travels. We loved having coffee on the balcony every morning overlooking the beach. The pool area is immaculate and the bar and food service was the best. The owner was so helpful with any questions leading up to the trip. It was a stress free vacation and we plan to return!"

  • Perfect holiday!

"We stayed in this gorgeous home for 3 weeks, first just my husband and me but then relatives and our adult children joined us. The house easily accommodated everyone with so many spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and lots of privacy. The master bedroom is truly spectacular! What a view when you raise the automatic blinds each morning to a perfect sky and wide expanse of ocean! Playa Flamingo is a truly beautiful beach with fine white sand and never crowded. A lovely morning walk. Add in the stairs to the beach and back and you've worked off that first margarita! The property is well appointed and comfortable. The beds were all very comfortable with good linens, something I think can make or break a house rental. The housekeeper was in every second day and took excellent care of us and kept the house spotless! What a bonus for me. There are lots of great restaurants in the area and some excellent live music some evenings. Some are in easy walking distance but a car is essential if you want to venture further, which you should. There are so many activities to try and we enjoyed zip lining and deep sea fishing. That being said, it's pretty hard to drag yourself away from this beautiful property with it's travertine floors and patio, infinity pool and vast outdoor living spaces on a perfect hot sunny day! We will definitely be back!"

  • Hope to return!

"I agree with all comments made by previous reviewer so won't repeat those. My husband & I stayed for almost 4 weeks and loved our time there. We could never tire of the amazing view (with stunning sunsets) & found the easy access to pool & BBQ area a bonus. The other condo owners/renters were very friendly & welcoming so it was quite social too ( although pool area generally quite quiet for most of day). We found Tim & Jacqui (owners) to be very helpful & accommodating......keen on making sure everything was good! There were a few minor fixes & upgrades that may need attention, but overall the 'pros' far exceeded any trivial 'cons'. The access hill is a little steep to walk during the heat of the day, but it only takes 5 minutes at not a big deal. Several other guests rented golf carts (quite reasonable cost) and these were beneficial when getting groceries or accessing the fabulous farmers market (3pm on Wednesdays). There are several good restaurants within walking distance and we'd take a taxi to others in potrero. There is one (very limited & higher priced) store close, so we mainly used a taxi or rental car (when we had one) to access the larger supermarkets. Our sons stayed with us for one week and for $10 were able to use the tennis courts at flamingo beach resort......courts are kept in good condition and weren't busy. We explored the various beaches to North & south....all very lovely (especially dantita) but flamingo is hard to beat! We had such a good time at this condo that we're certainly planning on returning!"
