  • Great Location..Home Away from Home!

"For anyone looking for accommodation other than a hotel room this is the answer! A very cosy apartment with strict security and only 5 minutes walk from Aldgate Underground Station. The area around here is more a business district than tourist area but this actually is a plus I found with two mini Tesco and Sainsbury's right there,a Weatherspoons across the road and five other pubs to drop in for a pint or a pub meal(*Duke of Somerset the pick(meals 'two for ten quid').Overall a good location with the only issue being our shower was not working the first morning .but was fixed while we were out sightseeing..no drama!A good tip is to buy a Oyster card for the tube and have it topped up as tube ticket machines have long lines and some were not working! Will certainly return when next over from Oz.."

  • Spacious apartment, fantastic location

"My family stayed here for a week in April. My two girls 11 and 13 appreciated the twin beds. The apartment had lots of space for all of us and everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. The master bedroom is huge with a king size bed that was very comfortable. A Tesco right around the corner from the entrance made getting a few grocery items quick and easy. The place is great, but even better is the location. Easy to access from the Tower Hill tube station and already right beside several London sites, including the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, Skygarden and one of the stops for the hop-on-hop-off busses. Paul was super-helpful with some travel tips and easy to reach. He responded promptly to all my emails leading up to our visit and even while we were there. We had a terrific stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to others!"

  • Okay apartment

"Three women rented this apartment specifically because it had two bathrooms. The ensuite bathroom was the smallest room with the smallest shower stall I have ever been in. The shower door couldn't close all the way (no inside handle) and neither did the bathroom door (swollen.) Really no privacy unless you were alone in the room. Also there are notes all over the place citing reasons your deposit wouldn't be refunded. The tone of the notes was off putting. Otherwise it is an okay location, clean and well appointed. Nothing special, but certainly adequate and a lot cheaper than a hotel."

  • A Posh Pad in The City

"You will be very pleased by this posh pad. Not only is the unit comfortable and spacious, the location is perfect. The neighborhood is quiet, yet central to just about everything you would wish to access. During the day, the City is bustling with activity, yet there are no pubs within listening distance to provide you with potentially uninvited evening ambiance (there are plenty of pubs within a 5-minute walk, but you don't hear them). With the Bank tube station around the corner, we expended little effort visiting all our favorite haunts. The central living space is two stories grand and, frankly, made us feel a bit like a royal. With the large arched windows and the ornate ceiling, one might think this was simply an elegant extension of the church next door. The kitchen is easily serviceable and the bedroom is right-sized comfort. There are other units in the building, but you could have fooled us because we never heard anyone else. The front entrance hall provides a nice place to adjust your soul from outside to inside which enhances the living space all the more. I must admit that I had trouble with the washer and dryer setup. I think most of the trouble was self-inflicted because I am American and despite years of travel to London. I have never figured out how to use the washing machines. If you are experienced in this area, the machines are in great condition and you will do well. We would rent this unit again in a heartbeat. Regardless of what experiences you have had with Home Away type venues; you will rate this unit as one of your favorites. P.S. Don’t worry about a toaster because the cooker toasts bread without a fuss."
