  • An exquisite retreat!

"My daughter and I spent a blissful week at Paolo's beautiful flat in Menèrbes. It is the perfect launching spot from which to explore Provence. The apartment is gorgeous with all the amenities one could wish for, the views stunning and the town lovely, tranquil and central to many sights. We particularly enjoyed visiting the nearby Abbaye de Senanque (arriving early when it is peaceful and the sun is illuminating the lavender), Isle sur la Sorgue ( the Sunday market, Paddling from Fontaine de Vaucluse to Isle sur la Sorgue, Eating at Le Jardin du Quai!), the drive from Mur to Venasque (stunning and so fun to drive!) and hiking the Gorges du Verdon (takes about 5 hours from Le Chalet de Maline to Point Sublime - highly recommended!). Most memorable meal was Le Mas de Tourteron in Les Imberts - very expensive but magical to have such a high end meal in that gorgeous garden setting, and was fun to track down the winery that produced the lovely wine we had the next day - an organic winery that has been in the same family for generations - Chateau La Canorgue. In summary, it was a perfect holiday - I would highly recommend it and hope to come back!"

  • A perfect hidden cottage in the heart of Lourmarin

"Amelie is all that the prospectus promises and more. Behind a flaking blue wooden door at the end of the main street in Lourmarin is a lovely little courtyard, hidden from the world outside, but just in touch with the sounds and life of this lovely Luberon town. The cottage is perfect for two people – it is a bit like the Tardis; it seems small, but all you need is cunningly tucked away and there is a big welcoming bed and many stylistic touches. There is an excellent restaurant literally on the doorstep and many more within five minute's walk, along with a boulangerie and two small supermarkets, not to mention the magnificent Friday market that almost overwhelms you with its cornucopia of produce. Half day drives will take you through the wonders of the Grand and Petit Luberon villages. Do not miss Oppede le Vieux. Meanwhile Kristine will be a most charming multilingual landlady with a wealth of local information, especially about the best places to eat. There is plenty of parking in the vicinity, but although you are almost in the heart of the town it is a haven of peace."

  • Heaven

""La Coquiere" to us is heaven on this lovely earth. The property is ideally situated for all sorts of adventures. It is surrounded by many villages that are truly delightful. Many markets to choose from and pick up some delectable provisions for your evening meal which of course you will prepare in the very well equipped kitchen and then serve outside on the patio overlooking the most amazing view you can have, or if you choose: by the pool... Heaven !!! You do need a car to take full advantage of the region, however if you choose to have some quiet time, it is very easy to isolate yourself in the house should you need some time alone. Even with 2 or even 3 couples vacationing together, the house is well laid out so as not to feel crowded. The bathrooms are roomy and very well appointed, so are the bedrooms. The best holiday we ever had..."
