  • We are booking next year in Panicale - 4th time, 4th year!

"We stayed at another wonderful villa for 3 years when the owners decided to actually live in their own home! How upsetting! LOL Katia, our dear, dear House Manager suggested a new place to stay. We stayed in the new villa immediately after the owner finalized all of his fresh aesthetic touches from a total renovation at a FABULOUS place! We stayed 10 days. The pictures don't even relate how wonderful the villa is portrayed! The luxurious touches are crazy! The solid wood doors, handles and door apparatus are modern, kitchen cupboards, appliances and appointments are divine! Bedrooms and baths are extremely well appointed. Furniture is not a hodge-podge like most places. This home was well thought out and they spared no expense, it just shows! Colors are soothing as well. Why do I share this with you? Because it feels like a soft, warm, welcoming place to forget everything so you can enjoy grass between your toes in the rare and fabulous backyard....the vista of the valley you can see.....the porches and outdoor settings you get to choose. Shall I say more? We already booked 3 weeks in 2017. Reserve a particular and delightful villa like no other in Panicale. If I could replicate this place in USA for a vacation place, I certainly would! Katia is as accommodating as can be!!! We love her and consider her family!"

  • Thank you Panicale for welcoming me to your Village

"Phyllis from Australia I have recently returned home after spending two wonderful weeks in an Italian village called Panicale. Panicale with a population of approximately 500 people is situated on the border of Umbria and Tuscany and nestled high above Lake Trasimeno. This village is the ideal ‘base camp’ for day trips, I managed to visit Assisi, Cortona, Perugia, Montepulciano, and Castiglione del Largo and then have the luxury of returning to the peace and quiet of my apartment. I choose to stay at ‘The Artisan’s House’, a well-equipped and exceptionally comfortable apartment which was ideally situated with a short walk from the old gate and the car park area. The apartment overlooked a small, quite park outside the wall on one side and a lovely courtyard on the other - ideal for catching the prevailing breezes. Equally, my location was only a short walk to the supermarket, the Piazza where there are three restaurants, several small shops and a tourist office. Aldo’s Bar del Gallo is the ‘International Hub’ in the Piazza here people from all walks of life and nationality gather for morning coffee or evening drinks blending effortlessly in with the locals –the atmosphere optimises the friendlessness of Panicale. My property manager Katia is the ultimate ambassador for Panicale – she assisted in my choice of apartment to ensure it meet my individual needs – greeted me on arrival, ensured I was settled and returned the following day to introduce me to the village. Katia excels in her role – she effortless blends her professional and personal life – she is a real joy to be with and can but not earn the respect of both the owners of the properties she manages, and those of us that come to stay in her wonderful village. Thank you Katia for taking such good care of me – you radiate warmth and joy - I do plan to return on my next trip to Europe."

  • Happy holiday in Panicale

"We were a group of two families (total of 10) who wanted to stay 11 days in the Umbria region. We found this property on which covered our need. We were not disappointed. The property was perfect, the view over the lake of Trasimeno breathtaking and the host (Katie) was very kind and helpful. We had the opportunity to both spend lazy days at the pool, visit the charming hill villages in the area, and also Rome was just 1 1/2 hour away by train. There were several opportunities in the area around the villa for jogging or walking. We will certainly recommend Villa Bell Posto."

  • Enjoy the Simplicity and Splendor of the Umbrian Countryside

"★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Imagine seeing the poppies and sunflowers bloom, watching the splendor of radiant sunsets from your herb garden, having the full moon light the sky of Panicale. Imagine having a cocktail and a swim at the end of a day of site seeing while a Nonna makes you and your guests the most fabulous dinner including homemade pasta! This house can bring together larger groups for spectacular experiences--being centrally located this villa has great day trips to : Cortona, Montepulciano, Orvieto, Spello, Assisi, Citte De Pieve, and even the FonteVerde Mineral Spa. The train is 15 mins away with easy day trips to Florence and more! The town of Panicale is charming and the people are inviting and friendly. The night views of this easy-access hilltop town are amazing. You can't go wrong with the services that Katia provides. She goes above and beyond expectations. She knows the area, the house, and ensures that no detail goes overlooked and she is easily accessible thorough your stay. I stayed in this villa for a month with family and friends coming and going and everyone loved it!"
