Holiday rentals near Centre for Visual Arts

We were impressed from the moment we entered the property. It was clean, well stocked with amenities for our stay and extremely spacious for our family. For me personally the hot tub was the highlight of the stay and sitting outside in a warm tub under the wintery night sky was just magical. The only thing to note, and nothing to do with the property but there is a toll on the tunnel through the mountain on the fastest way to the close town of akureyri at 1800ISK per way.

Beautiful location overlooking Eyjafjorour, our stay was made even more amazing watching the Whales from the dining room window. Property was clean and warm, a little too warm for us. Had an amazing time plenty to see and do

Amazing property just minutes from Akureyri centre, and close to most activities in this area and Diamond circle. The house is comfortable and has everything you need for a nice stay. Our favourite part was the outdoor hot tub, especially late at night while enjoying the spectacular Northern lights (two nights in a row). Looking forward to come back during summer time!

Lovely place to stay with amazing views over the estuary to the mountains opposite. Convenient place to be based for trips to Geosea and the Diamond Circle. It was about -5 when we were there and the cabin was very warm. We found that the hot pot didn't get warm enough to use.

Lovely property right by the Fjord great view. . Good level of darkness to see Northern lights, we went in winter, lots of snow, good winter place, was always warm underfloor heating. We wanted to be outside of Akureyri for the view. It’s about a 25 minute drive to town. We visited two thermal pools aporox 1.5 hours drive to each. At accommodation it would have been useful to have something to dry clothes on. We had to scatter all wet stuff directly on the floor to dry. Also could have done with having bit more cutlery/ cups etc as bit of waste to run dishwasher half empty. Generally great and would recommend !
