  • Great Location

"We stayed four nights, a long girls weekend and were treated so nice by everyone. I would go back anytime! It was all it said it would be. Clean, right on the beach we could snorkel from the beach that is steps away. The area is off the beaten path which was just right for us. Great restaurants nearby, beautiful beach and scenery. Highly recommend this place since they treat you so nice."

  • Amazing stay at La Bahia in Akumal

"We had just an amazing time stay! Really, I can't say we had anything negative to say about the place or our trip. The place was spacious, and had all the amenities we could possibly ask for. We were even able to watch football on Sunday morning! The weather turned out perfect (although we were a bit concerned about hurricane Matthew's path days before leaving). We maybe had ten minutes of rain the whole trip! The staff at La Bahia were just awesome; they were helpful and available for whatever we needed. We were there with a couple who had been to Akumal and stayed at La Bahia before (they stayed in #3 both times), so it was nice having them to guide us around Akumal and show us all the spots. But really it's an easy place to navigate. We were able to rent bikes right there at La Bahia, and they were a perfect way to get around. The staff was always available to put air in the tires or fix any issues we had, which we did not. We did a lot of the touristy things: snorkeled and spent time at Akumal Bay, Coba, Playa Del Carmen, Tulum Ruins, and Ya Kul. Absolutely loved the restaurant La Buena Vida (just a short bike ride or walk from La Bahia), and spent a lot of time there. We had a number of meals there also, all very good! La Lunita, a short ride/walk the other direction was also very, very good. Ya Kul was a phenomenal snorkeling spot, and it's just a short ride away also. But really, snorkeling in front of La Bahia was as good as any place I've been to, lot of coral, fish, and clear water. Half moon bay is just gorgeous and unmatched at sunrise. We were also able to see plenty of turtles in Akumal bay (a mile or so away), and the beach there is the best I've seen, ever. We have been to both Jamaica and the Dominican (Punta Cana), but I would much rather return to Akumal. It's an amazing little pocket of paradise and much more affordable than a resort!"

  • Really nice. Center of everything

"Loved this condo. Very nice furnishings. Cool AC. Had a view of the water and best of all 1/2 a block from 5th street and all the restaurants and bars."

  • Perfect stay!

"Our family vacationed at beautiful Arena Blanca and we all had a wonderful time. It was so nice to relax on the second floor outdoor patio or sit in the rooftop pool. We even had two of our daughters sleep outside on the lounge bed, loving every minute! Everything that we needed was right there in our condo and I could see just spending the entire time there, but it is so close to great restaurants, coffee shops and the beach too. We felt very safe walking during the day and the evening, we couldn't have asked for a better location. Everything went very smoothly and their staff were all kind and helpful too. I would not hesitate to recommend Arena Blanca for a wonderful and relaxing vacation destination!"
