Holiday rentals near Hunterian Art Gallery

The flat is very spacious for 2 people, and there was plenty of room when we had our daughter and her husband visiting too. It is very close to Ibrox, so it would get busy on match days. That said, Rangers played a friendly while we there and we hardly noticed because we went into town... something that is extremely easy to do as Ibrox subway station is literally less than 60 seconds walk away. There is an Aldi and an Asda within a mile for provisions. We met the owner, Kevin, who was working on the neighbouring house and he seems a very nice and helpful guy. I would have no problem recommending this place, and will probably use it again if my daughter still hasn't fixed up her guest room!

Excellent flat, well equipped and very friendly and helpful owners. Ideal situation for exploring Glasgow which is rich in buildings, museums, galleries and gardens. The flat is close enough to central and East side of city and near Glasgow Green and Palace gardens for walking and a drink at the West beer hall.5 minute walk to several buses into the Centre and 10 minute walk to the subway which can take you round to the West side of the city.

Very comfortable, compact little Bothy, which has been restored to a very high standard. All done in a very tasteful, artistic manner.

What an amazing property! Obviously, the views are incredible and the photographs in the listing, as good as they are, really don’t do it justice. The property is well distanced from other properties and feels private and well equipped for cooking at home. There are plenty of places to visit nearby but after touring all of both the east and west coast the best view is probably from the Heron cottage. After thinking long and hard about how to make this place even better, the only thing is to have a sieve for draining rice but that’s it... Perfection.

Clean and warm and right in the centre of drymen so ideal for all the local pubs and hotels.Emma the host was very helpful and responsive. Thank you on behalf of my dad.

Very nice, perfect location for shops, bars restaurants, only thing lacking was a coffee maker
