  • All the comforts of home

"I absolutely loved this home. Steps away form the Kenai River on the highway to Homer it is roomy, and comfortably furnished with everything you need to enjoy exploring the wondrous beauties of the Kenai Peninsula. There are restaurants nearby and numerous opportunities to get away from civilization and explore the wilds of the Peninsula. We went hiking up the Harding Ice Field Trail and also to the Russian River where we thoroughly enjoyed watching the salmon climb up the falls. Rick and his wife are excellent to work with and their team on the ground was great. They gave excellent directions, were accessible for questions, and made good recommendations when we were thinking through choices. I will note that it is not as secluded as I expected. It is not like a Philadelphia suburb, but there were other homes nearby, which I had not expected. Even with that, this is an outstanding place to stay and I highly recommend it."

  • Cozy Christmas By the Fire

"The property was exactly as pictured/described. The main draws for me were the hot tub and the proximity to the lake. The hot tub is right on the deck with beautiful views and the lake is just a hop skip and a jump away. The lake is currently groomed for classic cross country skiing and they even hot mop it for hockey and ice skating! The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. It was a wonderful getaway for the holidays!"

  • Serene site in one of the prettiest ares of Alaska

"This home-away-from-home was the perfect Basecamp in which to explore the kenai peninsula. The eastern side has so much natural beauty and the home fit right into this environment with a river flowing behind it. We had a comfortable bed that allowed us to hear the rushing water. We could prepare meals in our kichen or eat out in the scenic backyard. The washer and dryer was convenient esp. to wash my husband's fishing clothes. We could not have had better owners with Gary and Julie who really wanted us to enjoy our vacation. Their travel advice was invaluable to us first time visitors to Alaska and we had a great time! We will definitely stay with them again."
