Kenai Lake House

Our stay could not have been better. The location of the house is possibly the most beautiful location I've ever seen. The house was in immaculate condition and the host was awesome.

Beautiful Location

Loved our stay on the lake. It was a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy nature. The house was very cozy and extremely well stocked. The location was perfect for rafting, a tour of the Kenai Fjords, and day trips to Hope and Cooper Landing. Sylve was an outstanding host and went above and beyond in caring for our needs. Would love to return in the near future.

Great place

Everything with the house itself was perfect and the location is absolutely incredible. Right on the lake with beautiful views of the mountains. Loved it. Will definitely stay here again. The owner is incredibly helpful and the checking process was seamless.

The perfect lake house

Wow! This house has everything you’ll need. My boys loved skipping rocks and playing with the neighbors dog. The owner is so kind and thoughtful and makes cookies for you. Great location for all fishing adventures. Highly Recommend!!

Amazing views

Great home base for exploring the kenai peninsula. Easy drive to multiple locations. We arrived in Anchorage. Stopped at beluga point and Girwood then on to the lake house. Next we went to Homer and a couple days later Seward. And on the way back to Anchorage we stopped and cruised prince William sound. Best part of each day trip was retuning to the lake house to relax by the lake with beautiful colored water and amazing Mountain View. I would definitely stay here again

A Lovely Piece of Alaska

Our stay at the Kenai Lake House was amazing. The views and peacefulness when sitting by the lake are indescribable. We wanted to experience the beauty of Alaska on our vacation, and this cabin allowed us to do that and more. Aside from the awe-inspiring view, the cabin was very clean, well-stocked and super comfortable. The host was lovely and helpful. If we have the opportunity to return to Cooper Landing, we will definitely stay at the Kenai Lake House again!

Amazing Lakefront Views

The Vrbo listing does not do this home justice. Absolutely spectacular views of the surrounding mountains from the front porch, as well the private beach out back. From catching lake trout a few yards from the house, to watching Dall sheep on the green mountain slopes, our family had a great stay at Kenai Lake House! The home itself was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for an extended family - especially with the available outside cabins. And we have never stayed in such a well-stocked home with nearly any amenity you could ask for! Did I mention that fresh baked cookies were waiting upon our arrival? Thank you Sylve for sharing your home with us and we can't wait to return again one day.

Perfect lakefront property

We loved our stay at Sylvie's house. Everything was very clean and better than the pictures. We enjoyed the lakeside firepit and homemade cookies! I would recommend this property to anyone!

The Perfect Base for Seeing the Kenai Peninsula

Sylve’s home is cozy, well kept, and in a beautiful location. Can’t beat morning coffee looking at a lake and the mountains — from the kitchen window or the beach a few steps away!

Beautiful, Quiet, Country setting.

We loved our stay at Sylve's Kenai Lake House. The location was a great central spot to tour the Kenai Peninsula. We were able to visit Homer, Whittier, Seward, and Alyeska. It was an easy drive from Anchorage. The cabin itself was well stocked, comfortable, and Sylve's cookies were great. One thing we loved about the cabin was it's easy access for my 82 year old mother. Sylve was great to work with and very flexible. The views were amazing and we loved watching the first snow hit the mountains.

Beautiful Lakeside Location

This was the first of 3 houses we stayed at while in Alaska and by far the best. It was spacious, very clean, and the host, Sylve communicated quickly with any questions and even graciously when we locked ourselves out at 10pm. The location of this home is phenomenal and everything you would need is available. I would love to stay here again someday and would highly recommend it. Thank you for sharing this gem in the woods! Great stay

The property was wonderful and just as advertised. The house and location are beautiful. We had a fire on the beach, the sunroom was a great place to relax and read and Cooper Landing is a beautiful area. Sylve was a great host and responded to my questions quickly. We all want to come stay again and stay longer. Definitely a five star vacation.

Great location and amazing views!!

We three couples enjoyed our stay! The home is conveniently located near everything we had planned…floating, fishing and hiking! My hubs and I stayed in the cranberry cabin and it was was nice to have our room! The home was clean and the instructions were clear. communication was excellent. Totally recommend!!!

Charming Lake Cabin

We LOVED our time at this adorable and charming cabin! It felt like home the second we walked in and were greeted by a sweet note from Sylve and fresh baked chocolate chip cookies! The beach access is incredible and the views are breathtaking. This cabin had everything we needed and more - we really enjoyed playing CD's from the eclectic collection too.
