  • Our best trip to Sedona!

"My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary with a 2-day stay at the pet-friendly Casita. Everything you see on the website is as described (and then some). Our fun-loving dog loved it as much as we did. Nothing short of 4 paws up!"

  • great house from which to explore Sedona!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Carol and Gils house. We were there for New Year's for 4 nights with our 3 teenage daughters. This house is the perfect location to walk to the sugarloaf trailhead and access quite a few trails! We had beautiful weather and hiked every day starting with the hike Gil recommended. The next day we did the teacup trail to Soldiers pass trail past the 7 sacred pools on toward Brins Mesa trail. I recommend that hike as well. Out and back that one took us about 2.5 hours maybe 3. (we love to hike!) The house is exactly as shown, clean and comfortable. Lots of great towels and very comfortable beds. I did not think we would see much wildlife as it is a pretty busy neighborhood with lots of houses. (as i expected knowing the area quite well like we do.) We were amazed at how quiet it was at night! Completely silent, even on New Year's Eve. A far cry from the noisy Westin where we had spent the week before in Scottsdale. We saw only some bunnies in the back until the very last moments we were there. As we were packing the car, i heard a noise and up strolled a javelina on the left side of the house toward the backyard! I ran back in and took some pictures as he meandered his way all the way up through the yard! i was so glad i got to see one up close. We have been coming to AZ for years and it was only our second sighting! Great house. We'll be back. thanks for everything, those walking sticks came in handy!! our girls, ages 17,15 and 13 (and very fit) loved the following hike: Fay's canyon including the end section which is not maintained and is a bit of a cliff climb over a ledge for stunning pictures of courthouse rock and bell rock. Also on Fay's canyon hike they loved the climb (scramble) to Fay's arch. other favorites: Boynton Canyon Hike including the Vista West Fork Trail Devil's Bridge"

  • First time -- good time!

"Never used HomeAway before, but needed a place for 9 people. We decided on Mr. Lasher's home in Flagstaff, AZ. It was a very easy, satisfying experience for all concerned. I contacted Jim Lasher, asked a few questions, and booked the dates -- that simple. The directions to find the house were easy to follow, and the house was very neat and clean (cleaning crew was still present when we arrived a bit early). Very comfortable home in a great neighborhood, and had ample parking for vehicles. Everything needed for a cozy stay was there -- even pots and pans. Plenty of room. The Lasher's were very helpful and quickly answered all of my "never-did-this-before" questions. We would definitely use this property again if staying in the Flagstaff area. Thank you, Jim, for making this a good time for our family!"

  • West Sedona with great amenities

"Perfect place to stay with excellent views. There's pools everywhere in this timeshare resort though you will not experience the timeshare sales pitch because this is a private room. It truly feels like a home away from home and the entrance is the balconies or make you feel secluded but you are close to everything you need and the best part of Sedona."
