"We really enjoyed our stay. Be aware, however, that the house is not suitable for wheelchairs or, for that matter, for people who need space. It is small, though perhaps a bit larger than a hotel room with a kitchenette: at least the bedroom is separate from the combined kitchen/living room. What was really nice is that my husband could easily walk to the conference he was attending at the University, and I could easily spend time visiting the fabulous used bookstore on Dickson Street or using the nearby 35 mile bicycle path (we brought ours with us, though the nearby bicycle shop would probably rent one). This rental unit is attached to a much larger rental home which we were able to take a quick look at--it was beautiful but more expensive (nice, perhaps for a group or very large family).
The house was clean and secure, and the neighborhood fairly quiet despite this being a neighborhood with lots of students. We enjoyed a few breakfasts out on the back patio. The window air conditioner got quite a workout in the ninety-plus temperature days: we appreciated the ceiling fans. All the appliances worked. It's not luxurious, but then neither was the price.
We both liked the Hog House. I visited the Clinton House (the student working there was much too young to answer most of my questions) and the Prairie Grove Battlefield (Civil War) State Park ."
