  • Great little cabin - good value

"The cabin location was great for enjoying the surrounding area. It was a quick 10 mile drive to the Trail of 100 Giants. Make sure you bring whatever food you need because there is almost nothing in the vicinity for supplies. The general store down the road was abysmal. Also fill up on gas in the valley and don't forget your linens. You are REMOTE. But this is exactly what we wanted and I was able to disconnect. No there was no wifi. I had to borrow wifi from the local realty office, but I also got to meet some very nice people there. Weather was fantastic. Breezy and cool in early June. We hung our hammock on the front porch and enjoyed many lazy hours there. Yes the cabin needs some maintenance, but it is cozy and comfortable. There were no dressers for clothes but we made due. This may pose more of a problem with a larger family (we had 5). For the price this was a good value, just make sure you are prepared. Read the information the owners send you and follow its advice. There are lots of great hikes and things to do. We hiked to the burned down fire watch tower which was awesome. We also attempted to find the water slides but were unsuccessful, I think it may have been too dry. Overall a great stay and the owners were very responsive and helpful. Our deposit was timely returned to us. We would stay again!"

  • Wonderful

"If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing, beautiful getaway, look no further. I almost don't want to say how great this place is because we might never be able to get a reservation again. Kidding of course, but seriously it's a great place. The cabin is as advertised with a gourmet kitchen with everything you need. The cabin is on it's own private meadow which was completely full of wildflowers on our visit. We brought our dog who became pals with the Bozanich's dog Mohawk. Boz and Annie are an amazing couple with a true "only in America " success story. The tour of the shop is a real treat. Anyway wonderful people, great location, awesome cabin, you got it all!"

  • Beautiful cabin in a gorgeous setting.

"The property had everything we needed. It was like walking into our home. The cabin was neat and tidy, everything worked perfectly (aside from the BBQ ignition switch, but we worked around that). Would definitely stay here again!"

  • Great

"We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. No internet, cable, or phone, no problem. If you get motion sickness pack some Dramamine because the roads are twisty. The cabin lacked nothing. Pack some food and cook out. The kids loved the pool and the huming birds. Couldn't of had a better time."
