  • Location can't be beat, though condo was a little awkward

    "The condo was in a perfect location. It's located in a very quiet corner of the hotel, a little difficult to get to (3 long halways and 2 elevators, but once you're there, it's amazing! You are tucked away in a back corner of the hotel that has direct access to an elevator that drops you off next to the gondola. I could look out my window and see when the gondola started operating, as well as check the crowds at night at the outdoor patios and firepits near the gondola. It was a little noisy at night, but quieted down by 9:00pm. Really long walk to the pools... There's no place to relax in the condo as it's just a bed and a kitchen area with a small table, so we didn't spend to much time inside. We did attempt to cook breakfast one morning, including bacon, and the ventilation was not ideal... the place ended up reeking of bacon for the next 3 days. hopefully the smell clears before the next group checks in. The complimentary valet parking was a huge perk, as the hotel normally charges $30 a night! ouch. This place works a couple only. Not suitable for family as there's no room to spread out or put in a cot."

    "We stayed in the condo in order to attend the James Taylor concert. The concert was amazing! The place is lovely. Very comfortable. Even the pullout couch was very comfortable! The only negative is there's a $100 cleaning fee paid directly to Marriott upon checkout. We were unaware this was not included in the fee or at least noted."

  • Great Property & Great Owner

    "Anyone who knows this property understands that it is lovely place to stay with all of the amenities, and the location can't be beat for South Lake Tahoe. One big advantage with this location is you can walk to the lake, the casinos, gondola for skiing or summer activities and dozens of restaurants, activities (movies) and grocery/convenience stores. The owner was incredibly accommodating for our travel plans and we look forward to working with her again and enjoying her lovely one bedroom sometime soon. It is rare that you find such a quality owner who genuinely wants to ensure everyone is satisfied!"
