  • Loved this charming house and adorable area!

"I stayed at this house for 4 months. I absolutely loved it. It was just across a small alley from the beach, and a few blocks from main street. You are close enough to ride a beach cruiser or walk to restaurants and easily walk home from a night at the local bars. Seal beach is a wonderful area. It's a unique gem in Orange County. The shops, restaurants, and bars will entertain you in the winter months. The beach is all you need in the summer. The convenience of walking right out onto the beach made it so easy to spend my days soaking up the California sun. Steve and his mom were so helpful during my stay. Any questions I had, they were quick to answer. They even lent me an adorable bike to use during my stay. I recommend this home, and would stay again if I return!"

  • Fifth Stay

"What an excellent way to escape the cold winters of the northeast. This, my fifth stay at Bali Bungalow, was as enjoyable as my first. The accommodations are bright, clean and catering to comfort and serenity. WiFi, Pandora, Netflix and cable are all available for indoor entertainment. Outside, there is beautiful Seal Beach. This is an excellent walking town. The ocean, river, bay, Farmer's Market, green belt, and Main Street are minutes away. I can't imagine coming here and not staying at Bali Bungalow. Thank you Bev, for your high standard of hospitality."

  • Best place to stay for the cost

"When we first walked in we were surprised by the size of the unit. The condo was very clean (and new) with lots of space for my family of 4. We especially appreciated the two full baths and walk-in closets for each bedroom. The negatives was that only one key to the unit could open the door and the unit is far from the elevator. The 2nd key was probably not cut correctly. The negatives are quickly offset by all the great positives of the unit. Renting through Holidale was okay. Although we could not talk to the owner personally, the renting agent, Holidale was responsive once we left a message with questions we had. It would be helpful if there was a phone number to reach the owner so we knew what to expect before we arrived. Now that we have all our questions answered, we would love to stay in the condo again when we visit Irvine California. My whole family was impressed by the unit for the cost we paid. It sure beats a hotel and helped to make our vacation great. We have already mentioned renting through the VRBO site (to our friends and other family members) since we received so much value compared to staying in a hotel. Ron Perreira (Hawaii)"

  • Perfect family time

"Elena and Ky were wonderful to work with and we couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Our family, my husband and I, our two college age sons and high school daughter were coming from NC, to visit our extended family living nearby, and it was great to have our own space. Just enough technology, we watched football, cooked, hit the restaurants and the wifi was nice when we needed it. We loved walking to everything in town, and took daily walks on the beach. We had originally planned to see some museums in LA, but we were just so relaxed, we just stayed at the cottage. We would stay again in a heartbeat."
