  • Great house and great location!

"The house is tastefully designed for guest of all ages. My family had a great time here! The house has great parking spaces, backyard with the fire pit and BBQ and the La Jolla Shore beach is only a couple of blocks away. Master bedroom has view of the beach, we will come back!"

  • Lovely La Jolla Home

"We enjoyed this lovely home, and the proximity to the beach was great. The yard is gorgeous and you could hear the ocean very late at night when traffic noise quieted down. (There is traffic noise that could bother you if you had to have the windows open.) There were a few lags in communication with the owner, but it all worked out. Our family of 5 plus a guest had plenty of room and privacy. The neighborhood is nice to walk through on your way to the beach or the shops."

  • A great vacation

"We came to La Jolla for our spring break -- a much needed break from the cold. The instructions to find and access the property were very clear. Brant was easily accessible via text to help with our questions. The house was perfect for the five of us -- three teenage boys. We loved the access to the shops and dining at La Jolla. Our favorite breakfast place was Shorehouse. We tried several of the other restaurants and all were great! The beach was nice, but the water was very cold. We rented a wet suit for my son so he could boogie board, which worked out well. The house came with beach chairs and a cooler, which came in handy. Lots of sand toys, too, but my kids are too old for those. It was nice to walk around and my kids were also able to skateboard. Visiting the Cove is a must. Got to see sea lions on the beach, which was pretty amazing. We also visited Coronado beach several times. We love that beach and it's just a drive away -- more great shops and restaurants. We also hiked at Torrey Pines State Reserve -- a must if you like to hike. All in, it was a great place to stay. Convenient (loved having a washer and dryer), clean, plenty of space. Would stay again."

  • Retired Canadian couple from Calgary

"For the second year in a row, we've spent 30 days during January and February in Di's La Jolla Shores rental. The time went by too quickly as we relaxed, escaped winter, and visited family and attractions in the San Diego area. We love the location. Unless the tide and waves are really high, it's a three minute walk to the beach using the public pathway by the Marine Room - and at high water times it's an easy 12 minute walk via the residential streets. The walk to La Jolla village by way of the nearby Coast Path is marvelous. Access by car to the rest of San Diego is easy, and the fact that the property comes with off-street parking in the garage is a real plus. Views from both decks are great, and the beach equipment that come with the rental were much appreciated by our visiting grand-daughter. We hope to be back soon."
