"We have stayed at this house several times over the last ten years. It is large enough to accommodate are large family including visiting friends. This is our "go to" place for our salmon fishing out of Miller's Landing or the short drive to Bodega Bay. The stainless steel sink/table makes it quick and easy to clean our catch. We BBQ our catch and have used their "egg poacher" to cook our son's "first" caught salmon. What a feast! This kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook large family dinners from dinner plates, flat ware, cups, glasses, pots n' pans, mad lots of many items we don't even have in our own home. We finish the day by soaking in the glorious hot tub!!! We have plenty of comfortable room to sleep everyone and feed everyone. It's just a warm, inviting home that shows that it is well cared for with the visitor's comfort in mind. Our family loves this place and we will continue staying here each year with our large family for many years to come."

  • Amazing

"This home was exactly as described, warm, inviting, with spectacular views! It was the perfect setting for my wife and I to celebrate with our family our 25th wedding anniversary. Fernanda was easy to work with, and got back to emailed questions in a timely fashion. The home was very clean and neat, with tasteful decorations. One could tell that this was more than an ordinary vacation house, it was someone's home. I would highly recommend it, if you needed a home that could accommodate 10 adults and 2 teens."

  • Another Lovely Thanksgiving at Dillon Beach

"This was our third stay at the Sea Captain. The house is very dog friendly, with old hardwood floors and a few area rugs. Everything is very clean. The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking: there are literally dozens of sharp knives, many skillets and pots and pans, and all of the standard large and small appliances. The house does not have a dishwasher, but neither does our own home. We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner here without a problem. There is both a deck with chairs out front, up half a flight of stairs, as well as a private deck out back. Both have short fences; the back one is also gated. There is no internet at the house, and my AT&T cell didn't get any reception there, but that is solved by walking up to the 1st few houses on the road to the beach (literally facing the beach) -- reception kicks in there. The best part of the house (besides the cleanliness, decks, and quiet location) is that it is literally only a few minutes on foot from the beach. If you're renting a house in Dillon Beach, you want to be in the village, NOT way up the hill, which requires driving to the beach and paying a daily fee. We will be returning for Christmas 2015 and also plan to return a few times in 2016."

  • Lovely home, amazing views

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beauty on the Beach. Perfect for 2 families with kids - the house had everything we needed, and it was clean! We loved walking down the steep path to the beach, but families with little ones may prefer to use one of the other pathways or even the short drive to the $8 parking lot. Our humans & dogs agreed this would be a great place to return. Take note, the closest gas station & 'real' market is about 15 miles away, but the drives are beautiful, too."
