  • We had a blast!

"Sea Castle was great: there was room for all of us ( four families with 5 little kids!) and the weather allowed is to hang out in the backyard. Well-stocked kitchen and living room area - the corner gas fireplace was perfect to keep the temperature comfortable. And the location of the house on a quiet street provided added safety for walking with the little kids."

  • Lovely, comfortable, great view

"The view from the comfortable living room was fantastic! The beds were terrific. Jacque was very easy to work with. We would stay here again when visiting Dillon Beach."

  • Favorite house in the Village

"Myself and my three besties of 40 years go to Dillon regularly and have stayed in many places in the Village and up on the bluffs. And we much prefer visiting during off-season. One of my friends has been going there since she was a baby with her family. This is by far the best house I have stayed in. When we arrived there was a small miscommunication about our arrival date and the house had not been turned over yet by housekeeping. After a couple of phone calls the house keeping staff made an emergency visit and all was set to rights. Both the owner, Nancy, and the housekeeper were horrified at the mistake and Nancy made it up to us in very fair manner. That small glitch aside, this house is darling. The beds are comfy, the house is very clean (the folks just before us pretty much cleaned up after themselves), the kitchen is well equipped (VERY important to me) even including decent knives, which almost never happens in a vacation rental property. The sofa is super comfy, (although the placement did make it a bit difficult for TV viewing). This house is the right combo of updated and vintage charm (thank you for leaving the original medicine chest/mirror!). The one level is especially appreciated by a couple of my peeps. The proximity to the beach is excellent even if that walk up and down is a thigh burner after a few trips. If I ever came into a windfall of cash I would definitely buy a home at Dillon Beach. But until then I will be staying at this home whenever possible. In fact we have already booked for the same time next year! Hopefully I can get back there at least once before then."

  • Girls' Weekend

"Our girls’ weekend got off to a rocky start; when we arrived there was no key in the lock box due to a housekeeper mix up. As there is minimal phone signal in Dillon it was necessary to drive several miles to call the landlords and then again later to check for responses. The contract had a land line number listed (left messages) and a “no longer in service” number. It was almost 3 hours, locked out, and we’d given up and were on our way back home before we received the alternative access instructions. After 3+ hours, we were finally in the house and relaxing. It’s a beautiful home, well equipped, and comfortable. There’s a great view of the sunset. If we hadn’t experienced the first few hours of frustration and angst, this rating would have received 5 stars. Warning to some – you will be up and down the stairs a lot! Shout out to the Dillon Café, who, though closed, let us use their land line and WiFi to try to make contact to the landlords. And, they do a mean breakfast. As does Estero Café, in Valley Ford."
