  • Hi House Amazing!

"Just a month shy of our 46th anniversary, my husband and I spent only two nights in the Tree Tops - but we will remember it always. The house itself is an extraordinary experience - watching the full moon rise among the Bishop Pines, waking up in the early morning mist, sitting on the deck in the cool breeze enjoying the views of the water and the serenity of the location. The decor is wonderfully colorful, comfortable, and makes several clever nods to the house's origins. There is easy access to beaches and hiking - we drove to the trail head for the Tomales Point Trail and had a wonderful 9.5 round trip hike before coming back to cook a lovely supper of fresh, locally caught halibut in the wee but fully equipped kitchen. One might be tempted to stay put for a day - reading and sipping wine on the deck at Hi House could be the best option yet! The house has been beautifully updated - with a great kitchen (see above) and the kind of bathroom you'd want to have in your own home. The owners are on the property, but unobtrusive. We met Jeff as we were (regretfully) leaving and were so happy we did - he told us the story of the houses on the property and invited us to explore Helen's House (the other rental). We can wholeheartedly recommend the Glass House for couples and Helen's House for families for a special time in the Point Reyes area."

  • Perfect Getaway!

"True to the description, this wonderful home has amazing views that can be seen from every corner of each room! This place is secluded, quite, and one with nature. Hiking trails were nearby, we saw deer from the deck one morning. The home is very well equip with internet and a gourmet kitchen and all the elements needed for cooking a wonderful meal. The living room and bedroom were all super comfortable with a real luxury feeling. As described, the place was very clean and had plenty of supplies (towels, etc). This place is perfect and I look forward to returning again and again!"

  • Very good house with beautiful views

"Great secluded place and very well equipped house with all you need. Comfy beds, good kitchen tools. ( rare in holiday homes), nice shower etc. The house is well positioned between beaches, trails and PRS. Only thing we wondered why the owners put the open fire at an odd place, opposite the stairs? We can recommend this house strongly."

  • Tranquil Beauty

"This was a phenomenal place to spend 4 days with a best friend, both of us whom are exhausted from our daily lives. The living room looks directly out over the Bay and has a beautiful fireplace. Both bedrooms also have a bay view and the queen sized beds were both very comfortable. The Weber gas grill outside also made for an incredible meal cooked on the brick patio just outside. A family of five deer ate leisurely on the lawn a couple of days. The stairways down to the private dock was also an amazing asset. Wi-Fi worked great, and we enjoyed movies on our laptops. And with Pt. Reyes Station and the National Seashore all a short drive in either direction, this is absolutely a re-do: worth every penny."
