  • Special little houseboat

"My husband and I feel blessed to have been able to stay on this very special little houseboat. From the moment you step onboard you feel it's serenity. It is well stocked with everything you need. You are a short drive to Muir Woods, the coast, San Francisco and the wine country. The floating garden is a wonderful place for morning coffee or happy hour in the evening. We loved staying there and will be back!"

  • Lovely home in a wonderful neighborhood

"In two short weeks we came to view this as "our home". Jennifer's house is lovely - cozy, comfortable and well-decorated. And she is a very gracious and thoughtful host. Also the location is superb, just blocks above Caledonia Street, on the "quiet" (non touristy) side of Sausalito, yet a quick walk to downtown. Caledonia is lined with great restaurants, a beautiful natural/organic market and a wonderful coffee shop (Cibo). It's the neighborhood I've always wanted to live in. We hope to return next year!"

  • Wonderfully romantic and charming

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Lonestar. It was magical falling asleep on the water and even more magical waking up in the beautiful Sausalito harbor and eating breakfast on the dock. The house boat is very comfortable, beautifully decorated and contains many fascinating objects. It is also in a great location - on the water, away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy parts of Sausalito. Although downtown Sausalito is not too far - a bike ride or long walk away. It is only a couple of blocks away from restaurants and a supermarket, and on the tourist bus route. We loved walking on the docks and viewing the other interesting house boats."

  • Beautiful Views

"We had a wonderful 3 night stay in this home in July 2016. Maneuvering our rental car into the driveway and garage was a little scary at first. There was a car in the garage and another in the driveway and the turn for us to get into the only available space was very sharp and steep. We were glad we had rented a small sedan. My husband figured it out after the first time. The roads were very steep, narrow and windy, but that's what gives the houses the great bay views! The house was very clean and welcoming. We were traveling with another couple and it was nice that the two bedrooms were equally nice. The mattresses and bedding were great. It was pretty warm during our stay, and it was nice to have a fan in the bedroom. We got a little too warm even with the fan, but adjusted the bedding and made it more comfortable. The house does not have air conditioning. The kitchen and bathrooms were a little plain and dated, but everything functioned well. The best part was the great view of San Francisco Bay from both bedrooms, the family room and the dining room. The family room furniture was comfortable, but we spent most of our time sitting on the balcony. The neighborhood was pretty quiet. We could occasionally hear others talking, dogs barking, or chairs scraping on other balconies, but not much. I would recommend this home and would love to return in the future!"
