  • Great couples getaway.

"Close to the ocean cliffs, redwoods and restaurants. Nice clean quiet house right on the Russian River. Would stay here again."

  • wonderful retreat

"This was the second time here for our family of 3. It is in a beautiful location in Redwoods, ferns, with a seasonal creek running right by. The kitchen is very well appointed and had tea, local coffee, and oil and vinegar etc. We were welcomed by fresh flowers and pumpkin bread. The wifi was rapid. It is only 10 minutes to the ocean and Goat Rock State Park. We have also gone hiking at Armstrong Redwood State Park near by. Duncan Mills near by has a good coffee shop, a small general store with some food, and 2 restaurants. The owner is not near by but she responded quickly by internet to all questions."

  • Amazing one-of-a-kind place for special gatherings

"Rancho Wikiup is a fantastic space. Tasteful décor, one-of-a-kind. Original art and handicrafts, board games galore, fast internet. Huge functional kitchen. SO close to sights in Sonoma County. Easy access to groceries, shopping, etc. We stayed here for a Thanksgiving family reunion for which each guest cooked a dish. The immense kitchen has every conceivable cookware, utensil, tableware, etc. Fully stocked pantry. Extra space to store the turkey, wine & cheese? No problem, with the 2 extra refrigerators. Cook the turkey for many hours without occupying the main kitchen oven? No problem – there's an oven in the extra apartment. Roasting a duck and standing rib? No problem – the large outdoor gas grill was perfectly suited."

  • Perfect cabin for a perfect getaway

"My husband and I spent a good bit of time trying to find the perfect place for us to get together with family. We ultimately chose Michael's cabin and we were not disappointed, nor were the other 2 couples who joined us. The cabin was cozy, clean, tastefully decorated, and quite dialed in with the amenities. The beds in all 3 bedrooms were some of the most comfortable beds around (all of them made up with very pretty, high-quality bedding). The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and enough pots and pans (if you are creative) to put out a meal for six people. We spent a lot of time enjoying the lovely deck, while sipping some of the wine we got touring Sonoma, and playing some of the games that Michael has in his cabin for his guests. The little town in which this cabin is located, Guerneville, is charming and welcoming and not too long a walk away. Michael was extremely gracious and very responsive. His instructions for gaining access to the cabin were clear and simple. All in all, we would choose his lovely cabin again. It most certainly met our expectations."
