  • Excellent location and accommodations. Great dealings with owner. Highly recommended.

"Our stay at the River House was terrific. We had 5 days which went by all too quickly. We visited many of the local wineries and had excellent food and truly great experiences. The river house was great for playing games and relaxing after a hard day of being a tourist. The hot tub was nice and my only regret is that I did not go kayaking enough. The scenery down the river is spectacular. The state park, just a few miles from the house has spectacular views of the ocean and is a must see point of interest. It is hard to describe how beautiful the area is, but we have walked away in awe of the scenery and pristine landscape. The house itself had everything we needed and all dealings with Kelly were easy and professional. I highly recommend this place and feel it was perfect for our needs."

  • Tranquil, Great Location and oh so Clean,

"If you are looking for a place to relax, enjoy peaceful and quiet days and nights this is the place for you. The home is perfect for a couple with or without a couple of children (8 years - 14sh), comfortable and very clean inside and out. Hot tub is very private, hammock on the lawn is great for napping and be sure to enjoy the fire ring and floating dock to launch the kayaks or pull in a few fish. Nice having a washer/dryer to use and the gas grill was very nice as we enjoyed the huge deck for meals and gaming. We will be rebooking and recommending to all of our friends."

  • The Perfect Getaway!

"Booking a VRBO sometimes feels like a gamble - will the home be as great as it appears in the photos? Will it be comfortable and clean? That's why my guests and I were so excited when we showed up to find that 'A Shore Thing' greatly exceeded our expectations. It really felt like we were staying in a friend's home for the weekend. It was very clean and welcoming, and overall just a wonderful location/venue for a truly relaxing weekend. Some of our favorite highlights: - Everyone woke up the first morning raving about how comfortable the beds were (mattresses and bedding)! - The layout of the kitchen/dining room makes it a great space to entertain and be together while some folks are cooking. - The hot tub on the patio was a crowd pleaser - immaculately clean and very relaxing. We really liked the fact that the property was just a short drive (~30 minutes) to great vineyards and tasting rooms, but far enough away from the popular areas of Sonoma to feel like we were secluded. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family, and I truly hope I'll have the opportunity to stay again in the future! Chad was a pleasure to work with and was always quick to reply to my questions leading up to our stay."

  • Great long weekend getaway

"We always book in the area to get out of the city, and we look for privacy and comfort. Amazing Place offered just that. Lovely design with a cozy feel and enough space to accommodate 3 couples with ease. The hot tub was as advertised and the grill was awesome - but just make sure the propane tank is full. We had enough propane for night 1 and that's all we used it for, but I venture to guess we wouldn't have had enough by night 3. Overall it was a great place to stay and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to get out of the city."
