  • Quaint and Contemporary Property / Perfectly Situated for Getting Around

"My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this property. First the basics - it was clean and comfortable and we felt completely safe there. The deck on the back of the house provided amazing views and offered a great spot to enjoy our morning coffee and our nightly wine. Spotted a few deer in the front yard one morning as well as beautiful birds in the back yard every day. Multiple nearby grocery options. Location provided a great launching pad for our daily treks to nearby state parks, restaurants and wineries. For hiking, Armstrong Redwood State Reserve and Jack London State Park were both terrific. Best restaurants on the trip included LoCoco;s Cucina Rustica in nearby Santa Rosa and Zazu in Sebastopol. Wineries we visited on trip included Provenance (great Malbec and Cabs), Dutton Goldfield (awesome Syrah), StoneStreet (great views), Von Strasser (top notch cabs), Venge (everything was spectacular), Walt (do the 101 single vineyard tasting experience - includes treats from the Girl and the Fig and the Pinots are simply amazing) and Sojourn (good Pinots). All of our excursions were less than an hour away from the house - most of them less than 40 minutes. Highly recommend this property if you are looking to chill."

  • Perfect base for exploring Sonoma wine country

"This cottage is charming and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Our hostess Michelle provided a welcoming bottle of wine and cheese. She gave helpful advice on local restaurants and shops. We arrived in the midst of a heat wave and were concerned that the cottage was not air conditioned. It turned out not be a problem at all. Nights are cool. Michelle suggested we open the windows in the evening to let the cool air in, then close them in the morning to keep out the heat. This worked perfectly! Won't be an issue for most, but good for summer visitors to know. The cottage is well located for easy drives to wineries in Sebastapol, Healdsburg, Dry Creek, Russian River Valley, etc. On our last evening, we grilled steaks on the BBQ and sat out on the deck, enjoying the night air and a glass of wine. A great finish to a memorable stay."

  • Nicely laid out house, comfortable inside and outside and fun.

"The house is close-in to Sebastopol but fully in the country. Duncan, the pot-bellied pig was a big hit with my family and the fresh eggs from the chickens made breakfast special. With plenty of sleeping spaces and 3 full bathrooms, it was great for my family get together. The kitchen is well laid out and a breeze to work-in. The country setting was quiet and although there is no air conditioning, the house stayed cool on even the hot days we were there. I would recommend it especially for families with children or a getaway for couples."

  • Peaceful quiet countryside house

"We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The owner met us on arrival and took the time to show us through and gave us fresh apple juice from his home grown apples. The house has large living areas and is on acreage and set back from the road. It is a 5 min drive into Sebastopol. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the sun of a morning and the kids enjoyed running around in the backyard and picking fresh strawberries and apples. An enjoyable stay thank you!"
