  • Loved our stay at Knowlton Farms!

"We slept sooo well! Must be the country air with a hint of coast!!! One night we wrapped ourselves in blankets and sat in the garden, awed by the sky full of stars.... Vineyard and hill views from the well stocked kitchen were peaceful and calm. The pool was the perfect temperature to swim or float and take in the surrounding lushness...tip: take advantage of the outdoor shower! Poppin, the Knowlton's whoodle, was friendly and bouncy! Yumm....it's gravenstein apple time! There are several trees just asking "try me!" Suzanne gave us walking directions through the vineyards to the Joe Rodota trail...we felt like locals...The Knowltons provided great restaurant and outing recommendations - one day we had breakfast at Howard's Cafe and followed the scenic route to Bodega Bay. We went for a hike at Shell Beach, drove up the coast to Jenner and made the loop to Guerneville. Finally, we stopped for a late lunch at Russian River Vineyards Restaurant (formerly Corkys) and didn't realize we were just around the corner from KF! There are many things to do and see, but once you enter Knowlton Farms, you feel time slow down and the busyness of life fade away....Thank you Suzanne and Phillip, for your warm hospitality. We feel lucky to have experienced such a loved and magical place.... D & J"

  • Comfortable, relaxing, well located

"The owner is a great communicator! The house is exceptionally comfortable and spacious. The view is beautiful. Completely equipped - everything you could imagine is right there. The bedrooms are large, the beds are comfortable. We were 4 adults and an infant. The house allows for togetherness, and privacy and well sound proofed. I would stay here anytime I was in Sonoma County!"

  • Perfect Location for Perfect Vacation

"We came across Full House Farm when searching for lodging in Sonoma. We were intrigued by staying on a farm and since we have a toddler we could not stay in the studio so we're offered the trailer. We arrived with a 3 year old and a 3 week old not sure what to expect. The Trailer is the size of a large TV, bigger all in all then a hotel room but narrow with a low ceiling which gave it a slightly cramped feel. Yet it had a comfy King size bed, pull out sofa bed, 2 comfy easy chairs and a little dining area. It had a full working kitchen, fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, silverware, basic spices, a coffee pot and grinder for fresh beans, toaster, microwave, stove and oven. We were provided with a loaf of delicious local bread, jam, butter and fresh eggs from the farm. We also purchased the fresh goat milk and cheese from the farm as well as the amaaaaazing goat cream salted caramel. Yum! Our lovely hostess Katie greeted us and then took us on a lovely tour of the farm where our little girl got to meet the horses, chickens and goats as well as milking the goats! She also took us on a tour of the communal garden and explained about the various veggies, fruit and herbs. We had fresh raspberries, green beans, summer squash, lemon shaped cucumbers, basil, oregano and more. Such fun foraging for breakfast! It was a relaxing stay where we had all we need. The water pressure was good despite it being a trailer and we really enjoyed it with our little entourage. The location is amazing, 15min from Bodega bay and half way in between Healdsburg and Sonoma. Highly recommended!"

  • Spectacular setting for a fabulous family reunion!

"This gorgeous vineyard estate proved the perfect setting for an absolutely brilliant family reunion. Where else could we so comfortably have housed more than 20 people -- and seated them all at one long table for dinners? And where else could all of them, representing four generations and ranging in age from 92 down to 2, have been so happily engaged all day every day, whether relaxing in the pool and the hot tub; canoeing/kayaking/paddle-boarding on the private lake; strolling through the vineyard picking luscious wild blackberries; popping over to the coast (just eight miles away) to climb a mountain, bask on a beach, and/or hug a redwood tree; watching movies and the Olympics on the massive flat-screen TV set; reading quietly in the shade; playing fiercely contested backgammon tournaments; posing for group photos; or cooking up a storm three times a day? The two houses are generously furnished with everything anyone could possibly need or want by way of state-of-the-art kitchen equipment, bzillions of fluffy towels, exquisitely comfortable beds, etc. Every minute of our stay was joyful, for all of us. And our hosts were genuinely warm, gracious, welcoming, and helpful, always available but never intrusive. We are SO GRATEFUL to Shaun, Sera, and Gerald! We all left hoping to return soon and often."
