  • Excellent condo and location in Breckenridge

"We rented the Chimney Ridge Condo for 5 nights in early august of 2016. The condo is very spacious - the top level has a master bedroom with a king bed, dresser, TV, and patio overlooking the driveway area (facing up hill). The master bath has a whirlpool tub and separate shower, and a large closet with two sinks outside of the bathroom. Also on the upper level is a comfortable sitting area loft with two big chairs and a hide-a-bed couch. The main floor is great for hanging out, prepping food, dining and watching TV. There is also a decent sized deck with a patio table and chairs for 4 plus a gas grill (we didn't use the grill). The deck looks downhill with a view of many trees and the condos downhill. You can access the main floor directly from the garage. The kitchen, dining and living room are well laid out and have all the appliances and dishware you would need for a large or small group. There is also a large but dated stereo that plays CDs and cassette tapes, but not Bluetooth or even direct line-in compatible, so if you want to bring music, bring it on CDs. Sound was good. Bottom level has two bedrooms, another bath with tub/shower combo, and laundry. Both bedrooms have TVs also. One bedroom has a queen and a walk-out patio to the hot tub. The hot tub was nice, but seemed a bit over-chlorinated, but that might be the norm since I'm not use to using real hot tubs. The other bedroom has two twins, and a Nintendo Game Cube hooked up to the TV. There were some games, but we didn't use the system to see if it works. What I really appreciated about Chimney Ridge is the location. Just down the street is a place to rent bikes, and also a trailhead for an excellent short and easy hike that follows a small creek and then takes you to a reservoir that is loaded with trout. There are lots of trails to explore in the immediate area that get you above the developed condo area. It's a five minute walk to downtown. Downtown has many restaurants to choose from, and there are great walking/biking paths along the length of the river through town. Downtown is also a Pokémon GO hotspot, with a dozen or so Pokestops and 4 gyms. Suggestions for the owners/managers: Please provide a trail network map - the network is great, but we had to figure it out on our own. Thank you for renting your condo!"

  • Great place! Amazing location!!

"The condo was perfect for my husband and me! It had everything we needed and the location could not have been better! It was less than 3 minutes from the condo to putting our skis on at Snowflake lift.. Which was GREAT! especially after all day skiing, it was so nice to be back to the condo in minutes. We did not use the hot tub/pool area. We were so busy doing other things... Like enjoying Main St shopping, dining, & pubs which were all minutes away. Amanda was so helpful with recommendations and giving us an idea of what to expect at each place! A huge plus for us was the heated garage. We did use our vehicle quite a bit while in Breckenridge (ski rental, store runs, to snow mobile touring, even down to Main St at night) although if you wanted to walk down to Main Street it's totally doable. We are just that way, we ALWAYS have a vehicle on trips and use it. The heated garage made it so that we could hop in the car and GO! No waiting, freezing or ice scraping. So convenient. Comfortable bed, clean, very easy check in/check out & Amanda was helpful and very responsive! We had a wonderful time in Breckenridge and cannot wait to go back and stay here in the future!"

  • Over all Great stay...

"We enjoyed our stay at Winterpoint 18, very clean and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Having a personal hot was great after a long day on the mountain, not having to walk 200 feet in the cold was a plus. The hot tub does fit 6 people but was a bit snug. Easy walk to Main Street, to eat or shop. We were expecting to be able to ski right to the door, but there was a block half walk from 4 o'clock run. Which was not bad once we figured out where we needed to stop and walk to Winterpoint 18. The walk to the ski lift is easy and close, made stopping around lunch time to come in for lunch and go back out for the afternoon easy. There are two ski rental store very close for those needing to rent. We were never able to get the fireplace to work, but was not need to keep the place warm. Two half bath came in very handy with 3 couples staying in one place. We wish the snow would have been removed from the front door and deck so we could have used them more. We went into staying here knowing there was two twin beds, which did not bother any of us, but the twin beds were not as nice as the other two beds. All and All I would stay here again, great location, great comfort, has everything one would need, and great price for what you get. Thank you"

  • Great Location - As Advertised

"Great location. Easy 1-block walk to the lift and ski out area. You can store your skis at the bottom of snowflake lift during lunch and then jump back on the slopes. Easy walk to town as well. Owners were great to work with and were very honest with their presentation. We had six and it was a perfect size. Would stay here again!"
