  • Perfect Place for a Short or Extended Stay in Vail (Part 1)

"I stayed in this beautiful unit for almost three months, which allowed me to become very familiar with this condominium and the surrounding areas. I stayed as for long as I did because I have a complex orthopedic condition, and came to have surgery and do physical therapy at the Steadman Clinic, one of the top orthopedic institutions in the world. For the first two months after surgery, I had to spend hours a day with my leg elevated, and as a result, spent a great deal of time in the unit. For the last almost month, I was able to get out more and take advantage of some of the many of things to do and see in the area, and was better able to take advantage of the great location of this unit.   The unit itself is very comfortable. It has one bedroom, a bunk room, one bathroom, a kitchen, and a den. In the following paragraphs I will provide more details on each of these rooms, and share things I particularly liked.   The bedroom has a large, comfortable king bed. I spent many hours with my leg elevated in that bed, and appreciated not only the comfort of the bed, but also the TV in the bedroom. It is perfectly situated to be able to watch TV while in bed, and has many cable channels. The bedroom also has a large armoire that serves as a closet, a chest of drawers with three drawers, two alarm clocks, one on each side of the bed, a couple of luggage racks, and a power strip to accommodate one or two personal electronic devices.   I did not spend much time in the bunk room, except to exit to the pool. It has two beds, one on top of the other, as well as a TV that is attached to the lower bed. The beds would be perfect for two children, although they could probably accommodate mid-sized adult guests (5'10" or shorter). The bunk room can also be used for extra storage, if you do not need the beds.   The bathroom is a good size, and has a spacious walk-in shower with a seat, a sink, and toilet. Like the rest of the unit, it is recently remodeled, and is attractive. The sink has sufficient cabinet room to accommodate several people's toiletries. I brought extra items for my extended stay, and still had a lot of extra room. There is also a hair dryer, so you will not need to bring your own.   (Note: This review is being submitted in multiple parts due to this site's review character restrictions)."

"We had a heavenly end to a heavenly ski season. The Ritz condo was absolutely prefect! The accommodations were extremely convenient to everything. After a long day skiing the beds could not have been more comfortable and inviting for our family. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us Travel En Vogue and for all of the travel assistance and tips."

  • Amazing property

"We’ve been vacationing at Vail for years, and I can say with confidence that Skaal Hus #6 is the best! Let’s start with location – Skaal Hus is positioned beautifully in Vail Village and only a short walk to Lionshead. However, if you don’t feel like walking on those cold winter nights, there is a complementary shuttle service just across the street that will take you anywhere you want to go. My family and I were very pleased with the cleanliness, décor, and amenities that Skaal Hus # 6 had to offer. The layout is well suited to accommodate large families, or groups, with the master suite located on the lower level, two guest rooms and a loft on the top level. Skaal Hus #6 made our stay at Vail all the more special!"
