Recent Pagosa Springs reviews

"Our family enjoyed this home for 10 nights and the home accommodated the 6 of us very well. We have fallen in love with Pagosa Springs and enjoy so much the views, summer weather, hiking, water falls, rafting/tubing, hot springs, fishing, and just being in this lovely town. We cook alot, so the kitchen was fabulous for cooking meals. There is a nice stove/oven, lots of storage with a large pantry, lots of countertop space and loads of cookware, and YES a dishwasher. Mary was fabulous to meet all of our needs before arriving (answering my many questions), and while we stayed in her beautiful home (needed supplies). The living space upstairs is large and comfortable. There is a large dining room table that we enjoyed using for most of our meals. Also the back deck is large and the scenery is so beautiful. The laundry room was also a great addition to keep towels and clothing washed up as needed. There is also a large garage that we parked in and that was an extra bonus as well. Mary is one of the best owners we have encountered over the years. Thank you so much for making our vacation better than expected by staying in your home! We look forward to coming again next year."

  • Cozy cabin

"The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The beds we used were comfortable. It's a ways off the paved road, so it takes just under 20 minutes to get to downtown Pagosa Springs (just under 15 minutes to the Walmart). It does get you closer to the Chimney Rock national monument than a room in town would. It was very quiet during our stay except for some dogs barking one night and the smoke alarm low-battery chirp waking us up the first night. One suggestion would be some better reading lights in the living room area. There is one lamp, but it's a little dim, and the overhead lights are pretty dim for reading as well. The TV setup in the living room is nice with a satellite TV and WII for games. The WiFi worked well except for trying to watch a couple of movies on Netflix; I assume that's a problem on the ISP's end (Centurylink?). I'm not sure what the norm is, but there was almost no drinking water when we arrived, so we had to make a water run; it sounds like some folks had more water stocked on their arrival. The cabin was nicely equipped as far as linens and cookware. There are also some toys and games. Thanks for having us, Alice!"

  • Sweet and Simple! Access to everything!

"My family and I had such a wonderful time at this cabin for 5 days over spring break! We got to drive 30mins to play in snow, drive 2 mins to get in a hot spring, drive 5mins to local breweries or to get groceries! Highly recommend!"

  • Everything you dream of in a Colorado cabin!

"The Snowbird Lodge is a peaceful getaway nestled in the Colorado back-country. The Blanco Basin is as pretty as it gets. Nearby trails into the South San Juan Wilderness are plentiful and provide an amazing amount of country for hikers, photographers, etc. The cabin has everything you need and is in a very remote yet accessible area only 20 minutes to the beautiful little town of Pagosa Springs."
