  • Family Time

"Our second stay at this special beach house! Low to mid 70's temps meant lots of time on the large screened in porch! The house was perfect for our family. Highlights: hot tub, boogie boarding, Grotto's Pizza, Grilling out fresh tuna, Scottish salmon, and Texas gulf shrimp (purchased at Big Fish Market), putt putt at Shell We Golf, rides at Funland, Dolles taffy and Thrasher's fries at the boardwalk, walking to and from boardwalk. Can't forget shopping at the outlets! We needed another week to do everything we had planned."

  • Great Vacation Home

"I was very impressed with this house in many ways. For one, it was very clean and well taken care of. As soon as I walked in, I was pleased with the layout and how much space the house had. I honestly don't think the pictures do it justice. With the ten people we had staying there for the week, at no point did it feel "crammed". In addition, there were new AC units installed which allowed the house to stay cool during the hot weather and kept us comfortable all week. It was a refreshing place to be after a day at the beach. Also, the house was properly equipped with dishes, utensils, washer/dryer, grill, and cleaning products to maintain the quality of the place throughout the week. Another great aspect was the location. It was conveniently located near all the main bars and a short walk to the beach. There was also a convenient store within a block of the house so it made it easy to grab necessary house items at any time. To top it all off, the owner was very nice and easy to work with throughout the whole process. He was easy to contact and very accommodating. I would highly recommend renting this house, and I would definitely consider renting this house again if I go back to Dewey."

  • quiet retreat at Dewey

"If you are looking for a quiet place to relax and a safe haven in coastal Delaware, Snug Harbor is it. Nestled on Rehoboth Bay, but a short 2 blocks walk to the Ocean, Snug Harbor is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busier beach locales. The unit, while small, does provide a great location for walking into Rehoboth, taking in the great eats in Dewey, provides great access to Route 1 for shopping, and most importantly, you can watch the sun rise over the ocean and at night, watch the sun set on the bay. The spiral staircase to the upstairs is a bit narrow, but we managed to get our luggage up. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 down on the main level. Most importantly, the area is quiet from 11 pm to 8 am, so sleeping was no problem. We cooked meals in for part of the time since there were adequate kitchen appliances to create tasty meals. The screened porch was a great place to take in the bay and sit and have a leisurely meal or play a board game. Parking was assigned, so there was never a problem finding a spot. The pier is a few steps away and readily accessible. Owner was responsible and easy to deal with. All in all, a very relaxing 5 days."

  • Fun time!

"The house was very clean, updated furnishings, great kitchen with everything you need, real silverware (usually places have cheap, mis-matched plates and silverware...lol!!) Craig was there when we arrived and was available if we needed anything...which we didn't! Nice yard for outdoor games! We brought corn-hole. And 3 decks!! Need to trim some trees , so when you're on the top deck, you'd get a better view of the Bay!!"
