  • Only a 45 Second drive to the beach!

"Great response time to our e-mails! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Lots of beach "stuff" available. I enjoyed coffee on the deck every morning . My husband has some health limitations so we drove to the beach. It is really only a 45 SECOND drive ( I timed it ) and parked in the lot Greg listed. Lots of places to eat nearby. The best pizza was on the far end of the Daytona boardwalk at King's. Have a slice, or whole pie. Played 9 holes of golf at Cypress Head in Port Orange in the evening ( very reasonable!) and then to Ritter's for our favorite ice cream. The tub/shower combo might be a little narrow for some folks but worked fine for me. This is an older home,. Nice fenced-in backyard for kids to play with high privacy fence. Everything Greg listed in the descriptive is accurate. If you are looking for accommodations that give you more privacy than the high rise condos, I think you will enjoy "Seatreat"."

  • Great views, spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated.

"Access to the building was easy and very safe. Great parking in the garage. Directly on the beach. Floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors. We loved watching the sunrise in the morning from the balcony and even inside in the living room. Kitchen amenities were great. There was enough of everything. Rooms were very spacious. Bathrooms also very nicely done. The mattress was a little soft for me in the queen room, but I managed and overall slept well. If you are a beach person, I do recommend that you bring your own beach towel which is what I did based on another review that I read.Great communication with the owner Definitely an upscale condo and would choose this rental again."

  • Lots to do, review more like a 3.5

"We'd give it a 3.5 if that was an option. There really is a ton of stuff (activity calendar daily) to do here and restaurants and shops everywhere (super pricey, so be careful). The manager, Joe, was great to work with. The efficiency apt. room is kind of awkward. The door butts up to the hallway so if you have party animal neighbors (which we did) you hear their guests coming and going all night long, and then the fridge kicks on, bring ear plugs. Also, there is no bathroom except for one in the hallway so don't plan to be in the room by yourself. There were a TON of people there and no way to get a chair at the pool unless you go up first thing in the morning and claimed a seat (another reason to bring your own chairs), but after the first few days you get used to the crowds We have stayed in 5 different places in Florida and all the others have had beach chairs, umbrellas, etc...so we were VERY disappointed that this condo did not include ANY of that. Make sure to either buy a chair/umbrella right away or pay big bucks to rent one on the beach. Also, hard to cook in the kitchen, very few pots/pans and NO hot pads or trivets."
