  • This rental meets all of our expectations and in fact is our second year renting.

"The photos in the listing are exactly what the rental looks like. There's plenty of room and it sleeps eight comfortably. We really enjoyed our stay this year and hope to be able to return next year. We had a problem with the garbage disposal and it couldn't be fixed so the repair person installed a brand new one. Then the dishwasher backed up (caused by the garbage disposer problem) but it was a quick fix and done the day we called. We had a problem with the HVAC and that took a little longer to figure out but it was done promptly and efficiently. We felt bad calling in the problems but we're very satisfied by the services done. We had some guests visit and they just loved all the space and the short walk to the beach. The only suggestion we have would be to upgrade the older model tv with a flat screen but to be honest we didn't watch much tv and tried to catch up on our reading. This property was very clean upon arrival and it has all kinds of beach equipment available to use. It's located very close to a Publix, Dunkin Donuts, and a small ice cream shop where they make their own ice cream onsite. One Italian restaurant close by is Papa Vito's and it has great pizzas and pasta meals and is very well liked by locals and visitors. I would highly recommend this property and as I mentioned we hope to return again next year."

  • Great Getaway and lots to do!

"My wife and I booked this stay for some r & r and it was well worth it. The property is very nice and well maintained. There was plenty to do and everyone we met was incredibly accommodating. The unit was very nice too. It has recently been remodeled and was clean and very comfortable. We've booked online before having only seen pictures of the condos - I can say this was truly our best experience. Working with Justin (owner) was easy as well. He was incredibly nice, quick to respond and just a pleasure to work with in general. We will definitely be back as this was one of the best vacations we've had in quite some time. There is so much to do in this part of FL and at this community! We highly recommend if you are looking for a great get-away!!"

  • Quiet, relaxing, fully stocked home

"We absolutely loved our stay, and even ended up extending three times! The home is situated right on one of the St. Lucie River canals and is fully equipped with all the things you might need while on vacation; a real home away from home. You will definitely need a car as it is a drive to get to downtown Stuart, although the Publix and local restaurants and diners are within walking distance if you feel up to it (Florida...summer...). There is a bicycle there which we were allowed to use too. Our darling cat-child thoroughly enjoyed her stay there too as she got to watch a squirrel, loads of birds and the geckos all from the safety of the enclosed pool area. We barbecued most nights, drank plenty of beer (vacation, yay!!) and made friends with Susan, the neighbor who is actually the manager of the property. She is an amazing wealth of knowledge and incredibly helpful, not to mention well-travelled. Both the owner and the manager get 5 stars for customer service! The property is very clean and well-maintained, the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms are nicely redone with a modern finish, there is Xfinity to watch on tv, the fridge/freezer in the kitchen is large and there is even a large beer fridge in the garage. Oh, and there are loads of towels and extra linen. There's even a blender so you can make margaritas! We will most certainly be back as we consider Stuart our other home now :-)"

  • Hidden Gem in Paradise

"When I think of of this beautiful home I use the words relaxing, amazing, clean, comfortable, home and magical. This property in one word is "perfect" Glenn was there to meet us when we arrived. He gave us the lay of the land and where we could find things in the rental. The house is beautiful and well cared for. It's decorated in a warm and somewhat old Florida way. That's not to say it wasn't loaded with modern amenities because it is but it is filled with a warm, funky, kitschy, bright and welcoming vibe. You instantly want to kick your shoes off and soak in all the home has to offer. A full and well stocked kitchen with both vintage and modern appliances awaits down a step from the main living area. Two large windows overlook the amazing pool. To the left is an outdoor bar area with sink, counter tops and a grill. The kitchen has all the appliances you'll need and has all the kitchen accessories you have at home. On the main living level (one step up from the kitchen) you'll find a nice dining area with very comfortable chairs and a living room with comfortable furniture and a television. Want to play a game? Open the old cabinet and you'll find it stocked. The bedroom is just off the living room and has doors on both side so if you're traveling with a child you can have privacy but still be close by. We traveled with a teenager and she felt like she had her own space. She slept on the pullout sofa and said it was reasonably comfortable. The bedroom was comfortable and had plenty of places to put clothing both folded and hung. It also boasts a TV and great lighting to read by before bed. The bed while kind of bouncy was surprisingly comfortable and we slept well. Most nights we were lucky enough to be able to keep the windows open The bathroom boasts a 1950's meets modern style with a large walk in shower and a very large, just outside the in shower door - an very nice outside shower! What a great way to start or end the day! The pool was divine with lions on all four corners. Crystal clear water. The river is also easily accessible and we used the kayaks. Seeing dolphins while out was the highlight of our trip. We can't wait to return. I'm already suffering withdrawals from not having coffee on the patio this morning! If you're looking for comfort and privacy you shouldn't past by this property. It's very centrally located. Close to grocery and pharmacy, restaurants and both Melbourne and Vero."
