  • Relaxing and Comfortable

"Nicely maintained, spacious condo on 3rd floor in quiet setting. Very large screened back porch was quite private - felt like our own big treehouse! Close to beach, restaurants, fun activities. Peter was very responsive to all communications and details were well attended to. Great rental!"

  • Wonderful Property and Super Accommodating Owners!

"This is a beautiful condo! It is right on the beach and in a really nice complex with a beautiful pool. The beach was never over crowded and was a short walk. The condo itself was clean and comfortable with lovely furnishings. The view from the balcony was awesome! Three couples stayed there comfortably and the owner suggested we move the two twin beds together and that worked fine for the third couple. Two of the three bedrooms are suites and the third bedroom is directly across the hall from the third bathroom! It is a great layout. There were two dining room tables (one with six chairs and one with four)and six chairs on the balcony so all of us could sit comfortably. There were tons of beach chairs and an umbrella in the closet. Also the Omni Hotel (ask for beach chair rental extension) down the beach will deliver chairs and umbrellas for you for a small fee. You just tell them you are in the Ship Watch Villas and they drove down right away. The owner was lovely to talk to and very kind and responsive and she made check in super easy and there is a guarded gate for safety. The only thing that didn't go smoothly for us was running out of household supplies such as toilet paper, garbage bags, and paper towels. For example, in each of the three bathrooms there was only one roll and not a new roll of paper and only one additional kitchen garbage bag so staying for four nights with six of us we needed to purchase some supplies at the nearby grocery store. We never contacted the owner since we needed to go to the store anyway and the price was so great on the condo we didn't mind picking up those items. We stay in VRBOs quite often and many do not provide a great deal of supplies like this so I wasn't surprised. I have no doubt if we had contacted the owner she would have been helpful! For future renters perhaps stopping by the store on your way would save you time and you will want to go to the store and get supplies/food anyway because once you get to this beautiful condo you will not want to leave! So stock up on beer and snacks and settle in for a fabulous getaway! We would love to stay again and miss the beach and wonderful condo already!"

  • Nice & Roomy!!

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this nice and roomy home! We were there 7-14 May 2016 and could not have asked for better weather!! The home was beautifully appointed and we loved all the separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms! The sitting area halfway down the private walkway was a great place to "sit a spell" and look at the waves crashing on the beach! The market located 1/2 mile from the home had anything you would need to make your trip enjoyable! Downtown Fernandina is about a 5 mile drive and well worth it to visit and shop the neat little shops! Thank you for letting us stay in this beautiful home!"

  • Beachy get away

"This delightful house is conveniently located for exploring the Amelia Island area. The public beach access is just a short walk away. It is close to grocery, drug, coffee shop and other such needs. It is a short drive to the old town section of Fernandina Beach. A day-trip to St. Augustine is easily available by following the scenic A1A. The house has all the conveniences needed for an extended stay and beach experience. The traffic noise from the busy street that runs in front of the house can become rather annoying while trying to relax on the deck overlooking the ocean. We really enjoyed the Cumberland Island Tour cruise and exploring the many shops in Fernandina Beach. Great breakfast/brunch was available at Ms. Carolyn's, fantastic burgers at T-Rays, and great Cuban sandwiches and coffee at Hola Cuban Cafe."
