If you love to shell hunt, read books, or just sit back and count the sea gulls, this is the site for you. This is a laid back, non-commercial, no frills island where the family is the ideal vacationer.

Only 50 footprints to the ocean and 13 miles of unobstructed beaches. Surf fishing, beachcombing, and sunbathing are the activities of choice on our private beach just steps away. All you need for a wonderful vacations are your beach towels and sunscreen.

Friendly hosts and right by the beach!

We stayed for a month with our border collie, who loves running along the beach road! This was our third stay with Judy and Jim. They are friendly and responsive hosts. We recommend this cozy and clean place.

January 2025 @ fernandina Beach

Very relaxing - amenities of the unit were perfect fit for our needs, all the comforts of home. Beach access is just to the end of the block and easy walk to the beach. This town is very easy to navigate and just minutes to old downtown. Great place to vacation.

Love this home

This is a beautiful coastal home. And it is literally steps to the beach. Everything was perfect. From the x-large coffee mugs to the comfort of the bed and chairs. We loved it. All you need is your clothes and beach towels! I recommend highly.

Loved our time!

My husband and I had a great stay! We loved being able to walk so easily to the beach, and was only a few minute drive to the downtown shops. Jim and Judy’s place had everything we needed and were very kind. We hope to be back next year!

Fernandina Beach

This property was very clean organized and had all the necessities. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anybody that is going to Fernandina Beach. We were only about 250 yards from the beach and pets were with us.

Terrific little rental!

My three grandkids and I really enjoyed our stay! The rental is on the ground floor of the house (owners are up top), and we found it very clean and close to the beach (steps away), in a quiet, more residential area. We had no trouble eating in a couple of nights as the kitchen was well-stocked with equipment, but it is just a 5 minute car trip to the historic area and numerous restaurants. Thank you, Judy and Jim!

Beach Life

The location is wonderful Very close to the beach, 2nd house back Close to several restaurants and the park but far enough so that the beach was not as crowded. Very comfortable and beachy Owners are very nice and very accommodating.

Short walk to beach

The duplex was conveniently on the 1st floor and was beautifully decorated. It was well equipped with anything we needed. There is a short walk down a side street to reach path over dunes, but takes only takes about 5 minutes. Owners were helpful and responded to texts quickly. We highly recommend this property.

Our trip

I really enjoyed the condo. I struggled with getting in the bed because it was so high. The table chairs also. As you can tell I am short. The weather was perfect. I think this is my favorite time of year to go to the beach. We usually go at least once a year to Fernandina. Hope to book with you again.

Wonderful vacation home

Everything was great in Judy and Jim’s vacay rental. Quiet, well stocked, clean comfortable and only steps to the beach.

Very close to beach and quiet. Parking out front is helpful and useful for renters. Lovely yard with great deck on south side. Walking distance to restaurants and state parks. very little traffic because it is off the beaten track. Love to shark tooth hunt and watch pelicans.

Staying a week is definitely the way to go at Pelican Palms. The rate is reduced and allows two people to stay cheaper. The rate includes two people with $65 up charge for each person, up to 4 people. We are definitely the cheapest stay on the beach with the most to offer.
