Beautiful sunrises, warm waters, sharks teeth, and the relaxing summer breezes greet you each morning as you get ready for a casual easy vacation. The refreshing sunrise picture on the left illustrates the tranquility of this beach vacation.

If you love to shell hunt, read books, or just sit back and count the sea gulls, this is the site for you. This is a laid back, non-commercial, no frills island where the family is the ideal vacationer.

Only 50 footprints to the ocean and 13 miles of unobstructed beaches. Surf fishing, beachcombing, and sunbathing are the activities of choice on our private beach just steps away. All you need for a wonderful vacations are your beach towels and sunscreen.

It was a great place. It was comfortable and close to the beach. We enjoyed it very much. Would stay again anytime. Communication was clear and we had instructions before we got there. Would highly recommend staying there.

Second year I have stayed here and it's better every time. Jim and Judy are terrific hosts and the location has everything you could possibly want--beach, trails, close to downtown, restaurants. I can't wait to come back again!

This is truly the best place to stay on Fernandina! Above all the amenities… from the full kitchen, wonderful living room and spacious bedrooms, the icing on the cake for us was the patio with awning and gorgeous grounds and the kindest of hosts! Jim and Judy are precious and we enjoyed getting to know them! Lucky to have such wonderful hosts. Can’t wait for next year!

Host extremely helpful when we had a little trouble with the lock. Lovely accommodation with comfy chairs, roomy bedrooms and just a few steps to the beach. Lots of games for cold rainy days. Convenient to restaurants and historical sites. I would stay again.

This vacation spot was honestly perfect! A very chill vibe with beautiful views and my favorite part was the easy access to the beach. Not far from downtown and amazing and cute shops and restaurants. The people here are so friendly as well! Overall, the stay, the place and the location are top notch.

Very close to beach and quiet. Parking out front is helpful and useful for renters. Lovely yard with great deck on south side. Walking distance to restaurants and state parks. very little traffic because it is off the beaten track. Love to shark tooth hunt and watch pelicans.

Staying a week is definitely the way to go at Pelican Palms. The rate is comparable and allows two people to stay cheaper. The rate includes two people with $15.00 per day up charge for each person, up to 4 people. We are definitely the cheapest stay on the beach with the most to offer.
