  • Returning Again!!!!

"We have made our reservation to return for a third year - this is our once a year family vacation of choice!!! We have three sons in their twenties with girlfriends and there is something for everyone to do! This house is located on a most gorgeous spot on the beach and close to all the special things in Anna Maria by foot or bicycle. We use our car to airport, grocery store and that is all. We rent a bike for everyone and everyone can be on their own to explore the island. The house is laid out so well to accomodate all types of sleeping arrangements and has a wonderful common area to gather as a group! You can watch the sunset from your very own deck- so private! We love that this house has the feel of old Florida with grown vegetation- it has all you need- so comfortable!"

  • Perfect!

"This was our first time visiting Anna Maria. I did not know what to expect but Lynne made sure we were comfortable. She was really good with communicating with me and answered all of my questions prior to getting there. There is a free trolley that takes you around the island. Our car did not move until it was time for us to drive back home. There is pretty much everything you could need in the kitchen (plates, glasses, utensils, etc.) It was quiet, clean and cozy. The beach is literally across the street and Lynne has plenty of beach accessories to use. It was much more than we anticipated and we will definitely be back!!! Her parrot was a great touch as well."

  • Blessed Tranquility

"This was a perfect location to unplug for a few days. Once we arrived, the car remained parked in the driveway. The heated pool was surrounded by beautiful tropical landscaping with plenty of seating options available on the paver deck. During the day we were able to lounge on the pool deck while the younger crew enjoyed swimming; and in the evening we relaxed around the fire in the chiminea. We were able to grill out every evening on the provided grill (with full propane tank.) The home is located just one block from Pine - a street lined with small shops and eateries and ends at the Anna Maria Island City Pier. More shops and eateries are within walking distance on Gulf. We had amazing breakfasts at Ginny's and Jane e's Cafe (located in the old IGA on Gulf) and the Donut Experiment (on Pine) must be tried at least once. Located only a few steps from the beach, we loved to be able to just walk along the water or sit and watch the water without having to "set up camp." The kitchen was well-stocked with plates, utensils, and cooking implements. Basic paper products were provided - we had brought our own just in case. The beds were comfortable and the linens were fresh. Tastefully decorated cottage was clean and the perfect size for our needs. The cottage is connected to the main house (which is also available to rent.) We had the place to ourselves the first night, but another family arrived the following afternoon. We enjoyed the extra company, but it may not have been terrific if it had been anyone else - so, that's sort of a gamble. Overall, an wonderful experience - this was our first time using HomeAway, and I was a little hesitant, but any reservations were washed away when we arrived. We are looking forward to our next vacation on AMI."

  • Wonderful, relaxing stay!

"After taking a day trip last year to Anna Maria Island, we knew we needed to get back there and stay on island. I wasn't sure where I wanted to stay, but needed something economical, clean, and convenient. We decided on Kim's unit and stayed at Coquina Reef #16 for two great weeks this summer. We loved the location of the condo for our family-walking distance to everything including restaurants, stores, mini golf, the pier, and the beach. I traveled with my two school-age sons (hubby stayed back on this trip) and always felt safe and comfortable traveling the area, walking back to the condo after dinner or watching the sunset at the beach, or even an early morning walk on the beach. Working with Kim was very easy, and instructions she provided couldn't have been more clear. The price she quoted was more than fair, and the condo was clean, fully stocked (dishes, towels, sheets, etc.), and the perfect size for our little family. We enjoyed the ability to wash dirty laundry in the unit--no one likes putting on wet, sandy trunks!--as well as cook our own meals to cut down on costs. The pool never had more than two others in it, but mostly was empty for us to enjoy. We loved the small condo complex, and the more intimate setting allowed us to chat with others staying there. We truly enjoyed our time on AMI and at Coquina Reef #16. Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise, Kim! We will be back! Schaff Family"
