  • Beautiful house, wonderful host and great location

"After a cold winter in Germany we've spend spring break in Siesta Key. Shannon is a wonderful host and everything was well prepared when we arrived. The house is in well-kept condition, rooms are spacious and several amendments, even bicycles are available. The house is located quietly and with a lot of luck you can even see dolphins playing in the water. With the two fishing polls you can catch fish easily without leaving the place. Siesta Key is a famous place, with a breath-taking beach and lots of things to discover. We recommend to visit the Myakka River State Park and take a one hour cruise on the lake. Between 500 to 1000 alligators live here and it’s a beautiful place nearby. We rented a boat from Bayfront Excursions in Siesta Key (941-349-9449) and spend a full day exploring the marvelous seaside between Venice and Long boat key. It was a real high light. Use sufficient sun screen! We found prehistoric shark teeth at Caspersen Beach, near Venice. Big turtles can be seen here as well. Thank you, Shannon, for the great stay. We’ll be back again."
