  • fantastic experience

"We just returned from a week on the Big Island of Hawaii, staying in unit 8A at Hali'i Kai the entire time. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with Lisa and this condo...from the moment I contacted Lisa, everything went smoothly with the rental process and we appreciated having Bennett on site to meet us upon arrival. He was also a great source of local information! The unit itself was exceptionally clean and very well appointed with everything we needed for the week...ample linens and towels, a kitchen fully stocked with pots/pans/utensils...I was even pleased to find shampoo and conditioner in the shower since I had forgotten mine :) There were also great "nice to have" items such as beach chairs and towels, a large cooler, boogie boards, and even laundry hampers. And it was helpful to have a washer and dryer in the unit, too! We are a family of five (mom, dad, three elementary school-aged boys) and the layout and furnishings in 8A were perfect for us :) Oh, and did I mention the patio, with seating for 4, a BBQ, and a lovely view of the ocean! The whole Hali'i Kai development was beautifully maintained and the club/pool area was definitely appreciated by our family. The boys LOVED the heated pool and mom and dad enjoyed relaxing poolside with a cocktail and the nearly 180 degree ocean view. We had a fantastic time and I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in the Waikoloa area."

  • "Exceeded my expectations"

"My husband and 2 adult children just stayed at this condo for 7 wonderful days. Although I have been to other islands only staying in hotels, I was a bit nervous renting our first "condo experience". I'm a pretty picky person when choosing an overnight stay in hotels so getting detailed information and easy process to follow with the owner was greatly appreciated ! This condo was very clean, well equipped for all needs, and the beautiful pool was right outside the back door lanai! Thanks to Kevin he made our first condo experience a greatly rewarding one, and he is so helpful with directions and recommendations! I would rent this condo again with our next Kona vacation! Very relaxing area and close markets also! Terri Stayed 8/8/16-8/15/16"

  • Absolutely Wonderful

"Thanks so much for the incredible home to stay in! Perfectly peaceful surroundings and setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed and more. Your home was very clean and inviting. The beds were very comfortable, this is often not the case. If we come back to the Big Island we will certainly stay there again."

  • So happy we stayed here

"We enjoyed the Waikoloa Colony Villa for two weeks (Jan-Feb) and can highly recommend it to families (ours included grandparents, kids and grandkids, 8 and 11 years). This is a gated, secure, super quiet, friendly neighbourhood with sunny, breezy days, and cool nights. It is ideally located north of Kailua Kona traffic and VOG, a central hub for excursions to all parts of the Big Island. We planned many day trips to Volcano, Hilo, Hawi and Kona, with alternate days relaxing on the A Bay beach, swimming, snorkelling, turtle and whale-watching. There are beach toys, umbrella and chairs for 5, and of course, the surprisingly cool pool for refreshing dips after the day's activities. We also enjoyed the local Queens Marketplace with special events, such as Asian Fest, the charming Hula performance on Monday, Island Gourmet for small supplies of toilet paper and drinks, Ocean Sports for whale watch and beach toys, the Crocs store for beach shoes. The villa itself is a perfect two storey layout: upstairs you have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (the Master bathroom is huge!) with an extra large laundry pair; downstairs is a comfortable living and dining area, large kitchen with ample pots, knives, tools and tableware for meals "at home". We found a generous supply of soap, shampoo, tissues, bath and beach towels, as well as left-behind food items, including condiments, sauces and salad dressings, bottled water, coffee, etc. but no bugs! If you've been to the tropics you know how unusual that is! Cindy's very personal attention to customer service is also outstanding. She provided us with pre-visit tips on things to do, places to eat, etc., and easy to follow directions, house rules and instructions. She also made contact with us during the visit to make sure we were happy with everything and responded promptly when we had a question about using the AC. We travel to Hawaii every winter and stay in rental condos but we rarely feel so welcome! Thank you Cindy for sharing your lovely home in paradise."
