  • Q1 Golf Villas can simply be described as staying in an oasis located within paradise

"We have had the pleasure of staying in Q1 Golf Villas for the past 6 years. As described in our June 2014 review, Q1 Golf Villas can simply be described as staying in an oasis located within paradise. The owners are constantly upgrading the unit and each year it is more impressive which is hard to do when it is already excellent. Q1 is a corner unit which provides for a bright living space as there are large windows along the side. This accompanied by the 2 lanai's provides for a serene atmosphere. The other reviews written are also very complementary and there are no derogatory comments to consider. The unit has 3 full baths which is fabulous for a family of 6. The cleanliness of the condo is impeccable and the owner Marc is very reasonable to deal with and incredibly responsive when contacted. He is supported by a very capable management company on the island who look after any matters required. The unit has every utensil, plate, cup you can imagine. The private beach is a very nice touch and the property has an excellent workout area and the pool is fantastic. You can’t go wrong staying at Q1."

  • Mahalo, to the owners.

"I have to send a review concerning this condominium, because it is beautiful . The location couldn't be any better, facing a wide expanse of green covered with beautiful flowering trees and palms wafting in the breeze. The golf course at the end of the property adds a spark of interest as the golfers wend their way by. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior of the property. The furnishings were really nice and very fitting for the Hawaiian location. Three comfortable well decorated bedrooms, each with a bathroom. and also a loft with a trundle bed. The master bedroom and ensuite bathroom was a private haven where one could sip coffee on the lanai. I particularly liked the artwork that was displayed around, all very Hawaiian and quite lovely. The downstairs was really nice. There was a nice counter with bar stools and the dining set was large and would easily accommodate a family. The kitchen contained all the requirements to cook and serve meals in an efficient manner. All of the appliances were running well and the cupboards were stocked with everything we needed and then some. There was an outside kitchen but we didn't use it but it looked quite nice and modern. Location wise it is across from two shopping centers which contain everything from a food court, to high end restaurants and all the shopping sundries you can imagine. I cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay and I will return as many times as I can. I forgot to mention the garage is stacked with many of the beach things that one uses to play or just sit on the sand A nice gesture by the owners I thought. All in all I recommend this home away from home to anyone who would like to experience Hawaii in all it beauty. Mahala."

  • THIS VILLA HAS IT ALL

"We rented this Villa August 8-15, 2016 As so many reviewers have written, this villa has it all. The kitchen is stocked with every conceivable small appliance, gadget, pot, cookware, cup, glass, dish, etc. All the rooms are large with the exception of the second bedroom which is still adequate. Because of it's size, there is no dresser in the second bedroom, but the Blackburns cleverly have installed hanging canvas shelf organizers for clothing and shoes. The only items not supplied were bar soap for the showers and Kleenex. All of the furnishings are upscale and the beds are very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great which is needed on the Big Island in August. The view from the lanai is gorgeous, overlooking the pool, King’s Lake and King’s Shops. One evening we watched a fireworks display from the lanai. My husband loved the Bar-B-Que area. There are 6 Weber grills and a facet and sink. All needed Bar-B-Que supplies were located in one of the kitchen drawers. The location of this unit could not have been better. Close to the pool, grill and even the elevator. There is an assigned parking spot which is just steps away from the elevator. A tip for great shave ice is the Original Big Island Shave Ice truck which is about 18 minutes north, located next to the Blue Dragon Restaurant in Kawaihae. A large Shave Ice is just $4.00. They also have fabulous ice cream sundaes."

  • Wonderful!

"The condo is beautifully decorated, in a prime location and most importantly it is clean and well maintained! My family and I were very comfortable and would not hesitate to stay at "The Honu" again. Thank you Patti for your hospitality and bearing with me during our last minute arrival date mix-up!"
