  • The best value in Waikoloa! comfortable, clean and homey -we will be back!

"ALoha - our family of 5 will definitely stay here again. The PLUSES far exceed the negatives. Pluses: BIG furnished home with well equipped kitchen and ample living room space. Easy access to beach stores golf etc....smoking view of the ocean and lots of stars at night. We are an active family that spent our days exploring the island or at the beach. We would used the well equipped kitchen often - setting up breakfasts, picnic lunches and awesome dinners. We felt at home here ! The price per night is insanely affordable for what you get. The yard is in "transition" and wasn't a big deal as the huge deck was all we needed to spend our outside time on!. The owner is transitioning to a "dry" yard for easier maintenance so we totally understand. The past negative comments doesn't make any sense. WE found this place to be perfect for our needs and ur Hawaii vacation. It was clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. If you come to Hawaii to stay in the "yard" than don't stay here. If you want a comfortable, relaxing "home" to stay in while saving lots of money to spend on activities or nice bottles of wine - then stay here. We were lucky to have found it. Again - you can't beat the price for what you get! Thank you Joe - we will be back next year!"

  • Great Time! Great value!

"I would actually say 4.5 stars. We enjoyed our time at this condo and it worked fantastic for my immediate family while my extended family stayed in other condos nearby. We loved the ability to have our own space yet conveniently get together with my parents and siblings' families. The condo was overall great. It was clean, the lanai had a beautiful view and the living room was very comfortable. We slept great every night. The small knock on the rating would be 2 things: an ant problem in the kitchen. Luckily they had ant poisoning available for us to use, but we had a hard time getting them to leave. (this was a problem in the other condos that we were in as well.) Also, I would suggest a bit of updating might improve the ambience upstairs. Nice walking and running paths available - we enjoyed this as well as the close proximity of a grocery store, gas station and other shops (including a great coffee shop - Lava Java) Access to the shared pool and community kitchen was wonderful for a low key afternoon without driving anywhere. We also appreciated the ability to use the snorkeling equipment and the body boards. The kids LOVED body boarding at Hapuna Beach: I'd highly recommend! John was available by phone when I called in a panic since I forgot to print the parking pass needed. He helped me with writing out a temporary ticket and the next morning, the office had left me a printout to fill out and place in the car. So, thanks for helping us through that so overall, everything ran smoothly. Thanks for a great place to enjoy our trip!!"

  • Well-maintained, good location

"This is the fourth time we've stayed at the Vista Waikoloa and have always been pleased with the condos and surrounding area. Nice pool area, walk to restaurants/Kings/Queens shopping centers. And only 10 minute drive to Hapuna State Beach, best beach on the island other than the Mauna Kea, but that is a hassle to gain access. The owners/more permanent residents have always been very friendly and helpful."

  • Exceeded Expectations

"We loved everything about this house. Here is what pops into mind right away. 1) Location - one of the best within the community - it felt quite private, but was also just across from the pool - and also easy access to beaches/amenities a bit further out. 2) I loved watching both sunrise (peaking over a volcano) and sunset (across the golf course, over the palm trees) from the upstairs lanai. 3) It's obvious the owners spend time there, because the condo is so well cared for, everything is high-quality, and it has everything you could possibly need for a vacation. But it also didn't feel like we were intruding on someone's home. It was the perfect balance. 4) It was great for me as an adult, but also for my family. My toddler could chose to sleep in a crib, pack n play, twin bed, or a king bed; there were child locks on all the appliances; plenty of beach toys for the week; and more. Gordon and Denise get our highest recommendation."
