  • Great condo, well equipped!

"Our family of 4 stayed in this condo in August 2016. It is very spacious, and very well appointed!! There is a wide variety of beach gear. We used the boogie boards extensively, and also the beach umbrella, but I think I also remember there being chairs, beach blankets, and maybe even snorkel gear. There was also 2 bikes there, a cooler, and assorted other items. Wi-fi worked well. The location is awesome, convenient to the close grocery store (walkable), the lava lava club for happy hour, A-Bay for sunsets, and a short drive from the wonderful northside beaches like Hapuna, Mauna Kea, and Beach 69. Kona is maybe 20 minutes away. The grill right on the Lanai was very convenient. Washer and dryer also very convenient (though the washer is really loud when it runs). Would definitely stay here again when we return."

  • Beautiful home!

"This condo is gorgeous! The back patio is right off the swimming pool, but its still very quiet. They provide everything you could possible need. I had a highchair for my little one, as well as bath and crib. One of closests also provided every beach toy you could want. The beach is a short drive away inside the complex and its perfect. Very calm and beautiful. My 2yr old LOVED it. So glad we stayed here; we very much enjoyed it!"

  • Mahalo, to the owners.

"I have to send a review concerning this condominium, because it is beautiful . The location couldn't be any better, facing a wide expanse of green covered with beautiful flowering trees and palms wafting in the breeze. The golf course at the end of the property adds a spark of interest as the golfers wend their way by. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior of the property. The furnishings were really nice and very fitting for the Hawaiian location. Three comfortable well decorated bedrooms, each with a bathroom. and also a loft with a trundle bed. The master bedroom and ensuite bathroom was a private haven where one could sip coffee on the lanai. I particularly liked the artwork that was displayed around, all very Hawaiian and quite lovely. The downstairs was really nice. There was a nice counter with bar stools and the dining set was large and would easily accommodate a family. The kitchen contained all the requirements to cook and serve meals in an efficient manner. All of the appliances were running well and the cupboards were stocked with everything we needed and then some. There was an outside kitchen but we didn't use it but it looked quite nice and modern. Location wise it is across from two shopping centers which contain everything from a food court, to high end restaurants and all the shopping sundries you can imagine. I cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay and I will return as many times as I can. I forgot to mention the garage is stacked with many of the beach things that one uses to play or just sit on the sand A nice gesture by the owners I thought. All in all I recommend this home away from home to anyone who would like to experience Hawaii in all it beauty. Mahala."

  • Excellent Location, With Everything You Need

"We stayed at the Laughing Gecko on our first trip to Hawaii. The condo couldn't have been better. Comfortable bed, plenty of towels and the two balconies provided nice cross ventilation. We didn't need to use the ceiling fans because of the nice breezes. It cools down for perfect sleeping weather at night without air conditioning, which was a real plus for us. The kitchen was well stocked. The location within walking distance to the really nice grocery store was just great! We talked to people outside while we walked to the store, and they gave us some nice tips on beaches. Nice and quiet, and star gazing right from the balcony. The location is great because it's only a short drive to the best beaches. We also took the Saddle Road across the island twice to Hilo and Volcano National Park, and this location made that an easy day trip. This was the perfect get away spot!!!"
