  • Great place

"lovely, well appointed, spacious condo. Quiet with easy access to pool, beach, and nearby shops and restaurants. This place is right between two resorts (kids can swim with dolphins if so inclined) so you have lots of nearby amenities without dealing with the resort crowds and noise. This gated community is meticulously maintained and perfect for families. Our teenage daughter is in a wheelchair and the unit is mostly very accessible. My wife says the place is "fabulous" with a responsive owner. The area is close to fantastic snorkeling beaches and our favorite eatery, Lava Lava Club (go for lunch, drinks, sunset dinners). This was our second stay and we'll be back. Owner is honest, super accommodating , and easy to deal with. Have fun!"

  • Lovely Condo

"My husband I and recently spent ten days in AJ's Condo at the Waikaloa Village. We were greeted with a welcoming supply of coffee, bottled water and energy bars! The condo is clean and homey and the view from the lanai is a lovely combination of golf course and distant ocean. Sunsets are an event not to be missed. AJ advertises the condo as a one bedroom, but the loft bedroom is a full bedroom/bathroom that most condo owners advertise as their second bedroom. The Waikaloa Village is a quaint town 6 miles from the ocean. In multiple visits, we've found it to be less humid than the coast and cooler at night for comfortable sleeping without air conditioning. It is an easy drive to one of the world's greatest beaches, Hapuna as well as multiple golf courses. This condo is a great value, not fancy, but clean and decent....did I mention the lovely lanai?? AJ was easy to work with and helped make our visit a success. I would love to come back."

  • Wonderful Waikoloa

"We had never visited Hawaii before, so decided to rent Den and Sylvie's very comfortable condo in Waikoloa, about 20 minutes north of Kona. We really did feel as though we were staying in a friend's home for 11 nights. The location allowed us to explore beaches on the dry (Kona) side of the island as well as travel easily to Waimea in the central part of the island, to the Kohala peninsula in the north, and to Hilo and a number of interesting sites on the island's wet side. All in all being based in this lovely home was a great way to introduce ourselves to the Big Island. We were also struck by how wonderfully the condo introduced us to the culture of Hawaii through the art, music, furnishings, and guide books available for our use. It was easy to eat meals in when we chose to, as the kitchen was extremely well organized and stocked with everything from herbs and spices to high quality cookware. We really couldn't have asked for a nicer home away from home."

  • Excellent Stay

"This updated and furnished unit was very nice for my solo stay. The beach accessories were a huge plus, I was able to use the beach chairs and coolers which I did not travel with - very handy!"
