  • Lovely mountain view

"Beautifully updated place well-stocked with all kinds of extras in bath and kitchen. Comfortable beds and quiet nights. Some construction going on upstairs but that should end soon. I would definitely recommend and plan on staying there again!"

  • Best Location

"Two of us spent three weeks at this condo in Hali’i Kai. It was the perfect setting. We loved the view of the golf course and ocean from the lanai. Very soothing. The sunsets were stunning. The condo is exceptionally quiet for sleeping and the beds are comfortable. Each morning before the sun rose and each night before going to bed, I walked out on the lawn behind the lanai to watch the stars. A real treat. The Ocean Club within the resort complex is an easy walk and so handy with the private bar and restaurant (good food), exercise area, and pool. The unit is well maintained and the owner was very responsive. We appreciated the grill on the lanai, where we cooked fresh fish. When served along with a salad made of local ingredients, we enjoyed delicious and easy dinners. Our favorite place to buy fish was at “Da Fish House” in Kawaihae, a short drive north along the highway. The building doesn’t look like much, but you can purchase fish caught the same day. We like to golf and find the Big Island to have the best courses and greatest variety. We enjoy all the courses along the Kohala Coast as well as the Big Island Country Club, which is inland and at a higher elevation."

  • Beautiful, comfortable condo! We enjoyed the area and the close proximity to stores and beaches.

"We have been visiting the Big Island for the last 25 years and usually stay in the Kona area. I'd have to say that this was the most enjoyable trip we have had. We loved the condo, pool and location. The spacious masters bedroom and huge bathroom was wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked so we could cook most of our meals at home. It would of been nice though if there was a few trash bags to get us by until we went to the store. There was only the one in the trash can. We needed to get laundry detergent right away as there was none. The 2nd bedroom was not made up to the king size that we requested but that was not a problem as we were able to figure out how to put it together. The king-sized bed sheet for this bed was stained in several spots and needs to be replaced. The living room had very comfortable cloth sofas and the rug was a wonderful component as our grand-daughter was comfortable crawling around. Although we weren't in Hawaii to watch T.V my husband is an avid sports fan and had a lot of difficulty getting any remote to work in the bedroom, despite replacing the remote batteries. The T.V in the living room is extremely small but he just moved the chair right in front of it to watch. Other than these minor inconveniences this condo is beautiful and spacious inside. The location is perfect for shopping, golfing, and heading to any of the nearby beaches within minutes. It was also nice to be within walking distance to the Hilton hotel. The trade-winds that regularly blew through the condo were very pleasant and kept it cool enough that air-conditioning was not needed. The overall complex was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this condo."

  • Happy Days in Hali Kai

"We spent the last ten days at Hali Kai property and have had a wonderful stay. The property is as nice as it looks on line and I would recommend it. For anyone looking to rent this property a car is a necessity on the island to get around to see all the attractions. Farmers markets are a must for fresh fruit and Some homemade goodies. We had a great stay and can't wait to come back"
