  • Great condo in Hawaii

"Great condo! It was outfitted with everything you might need for cooking as well as plenty of beach accessories! It is 4 miles from the beach but is right next to the pool and hot tub. There is no AC but ample fans. Overall beautiful, clean, well stocked and all for a great price!"

  • Wonderful Kona experience

"Danielle and Alan's place is a hidden gem in the Kona area. The place is tucked away in Waikoloa Village, 30 minutes from Kona and offers all comforts of a home. We visited Kona for the 1st time and decided to stay at this quiet little place, and we enjoyed the property to the fullest. The property is in a quiet street, and all you hear is birds chirping. The place was clean, modern, with all the technology amenities you can think of, and appreciated the air conditioner on hot days. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, plates, utensils, plates and more. The living room was comfortable with sleep n sofa and chair. Bedrooms were big enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. The bathroom was also roomy. The dining room has large enough table to accommodate 4. Covered porch, washer/dryer are added a plus, and we appreciate the amenities. Overall its gets an A. There are some recommendations to make it an A+. The kitchen can use a Keurig machine instead of the traditional brewer. The dining room chairs are bar stools and not practical or comfortable to sit on. I had to work some days, and my back was sore sitting on them. The bathroom can use a new shower liner and a new shower head. The only hard complain the family had been the mattresses. The mattresses are worn out, make noises when you move and hard on our back due to no box spring. Would highly recommend that replace them with better quality and possibly with a King in the Master bedroom. But I would absolutely come back and enjoy this beautiful property in future. Thank you for your kind hospitality."

  • We already have next year reserved.

"We stayed for the month of January and wish it could have been longer. Everything was just as presented and Ben was responsive to any questions, concerns, and requests. There are beautiful beaches in the area and Ben has the beach tools you'll need to enjoy them to the fullest, including beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards. We spent time at Hapuna Beach and Mauna Kea, we found going early worked best. Mauna Kea resort provides access, but parking is limited. The kitchen is equipped with most of the tools you could need for cooking and the grill on the lanai is great for barbecuing. We stopped in Kona and picked up milk and eggs before we traveled to the condo. There are some cooking supplies left by previous visitors, so it is nice not to duplicate what is already there. There is a Wal Mart, Safeway, and a Target store in Kona for groceries. We actually found great prices and selection at the Safeway and Target stores. Wal Mart was somewhat over shopped. Queen's Market is located across the street and the grocery store has most of what you will need but is more expensive. We played nine holes of twilight golf up at Waikoloa Village for a very reasonable price with cart several times, it is worth checking out. We aren't great golfers, so it was perfect for us. We needed a good internet connection for a few days of work and it was available. Overall, our stay good not have been nicer."

  • Beautiful 2 Bedroom Condo!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first stay on the Big Island and we had a blast! Super easy to rent and work with the property management company. Excellent instructions on how to get to the condo and use pass codes to enter. On your way in to Waikoloa Colony Villas there is a shopping center with everything you need, grocery store, gas station, gifts and restaurants. We walked into a beautiful spacious, super clean condo with everything we needed for a great stay! The condo had a fully loaded kitchen; cookware, bakeware, dishes (and a complete plastic set for by the pool). There was Tupperware for transporting our meals on the go so we could avoid using plastic bags and wrap! And a brand new refrigerator. There were a few spices in the cupboard (salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder). The pool is just a 1-2 minute walk from the front door of the condo and has 2 BBQ grills (which we used on most days). There were beach chairs and umbrella, a cooler and a couple of beach mats for heading out to a the beach that was only 5 minutes north of Waikoloa. There were plenty of towels provided and so nice to have a washer and dryer! The location was perfect for staying on the Kona side of the island. Easy to head up north or cross over going through Waimea. Tip: there is a really nice grocery store in Waikoloa Village about 15 minutes from the condo. We only ate out 4 times on our 10 day trip because it was so easy to cook our own meals and head out for the day. We would definitely stay here again!"
