  • A wonderful stay for our family at Palm Villas

"We recently took our 5th trip to the Big Island with our now family of 5 (kids aged 3, 7 and 9). This was our 3rd stay in the Palm Villas and our first in this particular unit. I would have to say this was our best stay yet. The condo was exactly as described and pictured - in fact even better. We had an idea from the description that this unit was child friendly, but when we arrived we found it had literally everything you could think of needing when traveling with young children. Our 3 year old is in between sleeping in a crib and a bed and I was pleasantly surprised to even find a toddler bed rail in one of the bedroom closets that we could use for her! All 3 of our kids loved riding the scooters - they were so excited there was one for each of them AND the helmets as well. I can't say enough about how well this unit is appointed for adults and children as well. That being said, the furnishings and decor were very classy and all the "kid gear" was stored away in closets so this unit would be perfect for an adult only trip as well. In addition to how wonderful the unit itself was, I have to say what a pleasure it was to work with Christine. When our middle daughter became ill a few days before our original trip date and was not well enough to travel the morning of our planned departure, Christine was very quick to respond to my request to change the dates of our trip. Not only did she bump our stay back by a week to our new requested dates, there was no additional cost or fees to do so, even being so last minute. She also allowed us a late check out on our final day since our flight home didn't depart until 9pm. I can't tell you how much of a relief it was to work with someone who understands what it is like to travel with children and was as accommodating as she was. I would absolutely rent this condo again and will definitely recommend it to friends and family traveling to the Big Island."

  • Truly a Home Away from Home!

"What a lovely home. So spacious and comfortable. The location is perfect - between Waikoloa and Hapuna Beach. We went up to Hapuna Beach every day to body surf...it was awesome! The highlight of our trip was swimming with the spinner dolphins at Captain Cook's... AMAZING!!! There is a Foodland just up the road, so getting groceries was easy The town home was stocked with just about everything else we needed - beach towels, beach chairs, kitchen appliances, utensils, pots, pans, DVDs, games, etc. There was even detergent for the dishes and laundry! The property manager was a pleasure to work with. I would definitely work with her again. I highly recommend this rental. It is great for families - our 2 kids loved having their own beds and bathroom! Hopefully this home will be available for our next trip to The Big Island!"

  • The best value in Waikoloa! comfortable, clean and homey -we will be back!

"ALoha - our family of 5 will definitely stay here again. The PLUSES far exceed the negatives. Pluses: BIG furnished home with well equipped kitchen and ample living room space. Easy access to beach stores golf etc....smoking view of the ocean and lots of stars at night. We are an active family that spent our days exploring the island or at the beach. We would used the well equipped kitchen often - setting up breakfasts, picnic lunches and awesome dinners. We felt at home here ! The price per night is insanely affordable for what you get. The yard is in "transition" and wasn't a big deal as the huge deck was all we needed to spend our outside time on!. The owner is transitioning to a "dry" yard for easier maintenance so we totally understand. The past negative comments doesn't make any sense. WE found this place to be perfect for our needs and ur Hawaii vacation. It was clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped. If you come to Hawaii to stay in the "yard" than don't stay here. If you want a comfortable, relaxing "home" to stay in while saving lots of money to spend on activities or nice bottles of wine - then stay here. We were lucky to have found it. Again - you can't beat the price for what you get! Thank you Joe - we will be back next year!"
