  • Heavenly

"We thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay at Rogers Colony Surf unit in Gold Coast Waikiki. It was HEAVENLY for us away from all the activity in the heart of Waikiki. Colony Surf is located in the Gold Coast which is the quiet part of Waikiki and yet only a fifteen minute walk from all of the beach activity, shopping, dinning, and entertainment that Waikiki offers. The unit itself has all of the essentials and comforts needed to enjoy pleasant vacation in Hawaii including a great view of both Diamond Head and the vast Pacific Ocean. The kitchen is well stocked and even had a coffee grinder, which was an added bonus. His attentiveness to us was appreciated. The dishwasher was a must for any extended vacation. Michel's, located in the building was an added bonus."

  • Good location and value for a single or couple.

"The Royal Garden is located within walking distance of everything in Waikiki, and offers a quiet experience. Compared to many other properties. Margaret's studio condo is a nice corner unit with a lanai overlooking the AlaWai and mountains, as well as views toward Ala Moana and the ocean. The room has everything you need if you should decide to cook simple meals and a full-size refrigerator. Wifi is available, included, and generally worked well during my stay for business email, Internet searches, Facebook, etc. The room is standard "small" and furnishings somewhat used and dated, but functunctional. The bed comfortable, but would be a little short for taller folks. This unit was a great place to spend a week for business, yet relax a bit. Most facilities at the Royal Garden are available for those who rent this studio. Margaret is prompt in her response to your requests and emails helpful information prior to your arrival. I will definitely consider staying in this unit again if it is available during my next stay on Oahu."

  • Great view

"The view here is great. Nicely renovated at some point with hardwood and newer appliances. Owner and Management great to deal with. Of course you can't beat the location either as the beach is a few blocks away. Also around the clock security guard on ground floor. Included parking was indeed the cherry on top... Lots of value for the price. Would stay again!"

  • What a View!

"We enjoyed this studio apt. with a fabulous view. As others have said, it's very close to the lagoon and the nice swimming beach in front of the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The hallways are very hot (due to lack of air circulation), but the unit was always nice and cool upon our return. Eat breakfast on the lanai and contemplate the incredible turquoise color of the water. Beach chairs (although not in great shape) are available for use; a couple of beach mats would have been a nice touch, too."
