  • Perfect Family Vacation on the Lake!

"We are a family of five with children ranging in age from 3 to 13 and we had a fantastic time at the cabin! Doug was very easy to deal with and our logistics were seamless. The cabin itself was very clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. It is located on a beautiful part of the lake with crystal clear water and a wonderful westerly view which made it great to watch sunsets. While we were there we took full advantage of being on the lake by renting a boat and paddleboards from Harrison Water Adventures which we had delivered directly to the dock at the cabin for a nominal charge. The kids really enjoyed tubing behind the boat and having the chance to explore the lake during some beautiful weather. We also booked a half day fishing charter with Lake Charters. Don and Susan, the owners, picked us up at the dock at the cabin and we had a great time on the water fishing for Pike. Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin and look forward to returning next summer! We would gladly recommend this cabin to our family and friends."

  • Quiet, Comfortable Lodging on Rose Lake

"Watsons Rose Lake Lodge is the place to stay for a quiet retreat. The lodge is located above an old tavern and has been fully remodeled with all the amenities. It is tucked away just up the hill from the boat landing. And is within a 30 mile drive to Coeur D' Alene. After playing all day....kayaks, paddle boards, swimming, it was a pleasure to come back to the Lodge and enjoy the camaraderie of a campfire. The Lodge has comfortable queen size beds, a set of bunks for the kids, an adequate, stocked kitchen and dining area for us to sleep and feed the adults and children in our group. The washer and dryer was nice to clean up swim suits and towels. And with 90 degree day time temperatures, was nice to have air conditioning. One thing to note, is the Lodge is off the grid with no access to Internet. However, the lodge care takers, Joe and Yvonne, were wonderful in providing all the information we needed about the area. Would definitely stay here again if in the area."

  • Lovely host, great place

"The location of this little basement apartment is amazing--across the street from the huge lakefront park, a half block to the water. Yet it is quiet, with sufficient parking and great amenities. Access is through the host's dining room but she is quite discreet and makes it as private as possible. Karen went out of her way to make it feel like a special visit--she clearly loves her town and we do too. It was a lovely retreat and the only downside was not being able to spend more time there."
