Cette belle maison se trouve sur un petit point dans Carlin Bay et offre une vue magnifique sur le lac depuis presque toutes les chambres. Il a une exposition sud, de sorte que vous pouvez profiter du soleil toute la journée sur tous les jouets de l'eau que nous fournissons!

La maison dispose de la climatisation centrale dans les trois chambres qui vous permettront de dormir confortablement. Le maître d'ensuite a un lit king. Une chambre a un lit double antique et l'autre chambre a une couchette double / simple. Il y a une fenêtre pleine dans le salon.

La cuisine de pays ouvre sur une terrasse spacieuse, juste au bon endroit pour profiter d'un repas ou regarder le coucher du soleil avec du vin de notre cave locale que nous avons en attente pour vous. Dans la cour avant gazonnée, se asseoir à l'ombre des pins et lire un livre ou faire une sieste dans le hamac. Dans la soirée, faire griller des guimauves dans le foyer ou un barbecue un repas délicieux.

La maison est située sur une colline et a maintenu un sentier à la plage. La plage est dans son état naturel (basalte), un pont a été construit qui mène au quai flottant. Nous avons des jouets aquatiques amusants comme l'Aqua Lily Pad, (2) SUP et (2) kayaks pour vous amuser avec beaucoup de chaises, une table et de l'ombre.

Cette maison est bien approvisionné avec des épices, produits alimentaires de base de la cuisine comme l'huile d'olive, le sucre, le sel, la farine et les produits du papier que nous voulons que vous vous sentiez comme chez vous. Nous sommes heureux de vous fournir des cheveux doTERRA et produits de soins corporels. Nous nous efforçons d'être aussi «vert» que nous pouvons être utilisons que des produits de nettoyage qui sont sans danger pour l'environnement.

Cette maison est idéale pour une seule famille ou deux ou trois couples.

Perfect Lake House

Great place to relax.

We had family staying just a half mile north, so this home offered us a great place to come to get some rest or some work done. Nice, clean beds and home. Very well stocked kitchen and a lot of games to pass the time away. Would love to come back again.

Peaceful lake stay

Beautiful property

This was a beautiful property with everything you could ask for. Pantry was the most well stocked pantry I have ever seen in a VRBO. The house had AC in the bedrooms which was also wonderful. The dock was great and so many fun toys to play with. We loved our stay and would certainly stay here again.

Relaxing

Having the owners downstairs was a bit odd, but they were lovely and we barely knew there were there. The accommodations were perfect and other than a steep climb from the dock to the house, we were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting.

Fabulous Lakeside Retreat

This is a place that we never wanted to leave. Perfectly situated on the lake with gorgeous views from every window, it had everything you could ask for a lakeside retreat. We spent two weeks and didn't go out to dinner once because it was too hard to leave the beautiful sunset views. And of course, Mark and Suanne are warm and gracious hosts. We highly recommend this property for a great stay on Lake Coeur D'Alene!

We lucked out with some amazing weather on beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene to celebrate the 4th of July! House was well stocked with everything that you need. All the outside lake toys were an added bonus for our family! The views from the deck were perfect! Suanne was easy to communicate with.

Beautiful view!

We had a great time. The house is well stocked and comfortable. Some of the steps to the dock don’t have a handrail. It is steep and quite a climb but it does make for a gorgeous view.

Dream vacation home in Harrison, Idaho on the Lake

We had a phenomenal stay at Coeur D'Alene Lake in breath taking Carlin Bay. Suanne and Mark have a beautiful home that is modern and clean with views of the lake from every room in the house. Solid internet access. Communicating with them was easy and they provided us with great ideas on places to visit and explore. Their access to the lake below and their personal dock made going for a swim, kayaking, or just relaxing in the sun a pure joy. The house is situated close to Coeur D'Alene and the quaint town of Harrison. This home is a true taste of lake living and we had a fantastic stay. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy and relax on Coeur D'Alene Lake. We will we be back!

Perfection!

Beautiful! Gorgeous! Amazing! There are not enough adjectives for the Live on the Lake house. The house is just perfect. The views from the back of the house, along with the lake breeze, were fantastic. The house was sparkling clean and very well laid out. The location could not be better! Far enough from the crowds to be able to relax, but close enough to town to get quality supplies. We took a guided fly fishing trip out of Coeur D'Alene which was tons of fun. It's a great way to see the area from a different viewpoint. Suanne was just lovely. The icing on the cake. We can't wait to return! Lyn and Blake

great location great lakeside position but overall disappointing

great location in lakeside position with excellent waterfront and "toys". Somewhat spoilt as on our last afternoon owners and their family took over the dock area meaning we felt we couldn't access the canoes paddleboards etc, taking the edge off our enjoyment on our last day. Grandkids were especially looking forward to fishing but could not because of the owners young grandkids were in the fishing area, Checkout processes were demanding - beds to be stripped, washer to be filled and dishwasher filled and started, and departure by 10:00am. We also had to take trash to the dumpster "up the road" (3 mile round trip) only to find somebody had locked it. Did not meet current UK advertising campaign about property privacy. In addition be aware that shopping for provisions requires round trip to Coeur d'Alene, facilities in Harrison extremely limited.

I do appreciate your review and very sorry it did not meet up to your standards. I will definitely give your constructive criticism a moment of reflection on how I can better my services for our guests. You were a delightful group of people, and I am truly sorry that my family who came to pick us up and take us away for a couple of hours hindered your experience. When we returned, they all just wanted to jump in and cool off (as it was a very hot day) for not more then an hour and did so cause you were not utilizing the dock. As you recall, as soon as I realized you did not approve, they immediately left. In regards to the check out process, it is all due to the fact that because we have a quick turnover we ask (do not require) that you help us out in doing a few of those easy housekeeping items. I am confused about the locked dumpster? You must not have followed the directions in the book to the 6 dumpsters off of Elk Road that is available 24/7. I think you went to the Latitudes food truck private dumpster. Wish you all the best. Suanne and Mark

Perfect Lake Vacation Spot

We enjoyed every minute we stayed at Point Harns during our three day stay in July of 2012. It was a very relaxing, peaceful home away from home for many reasons. The location on the lake was wonderful with easy access to the water and home. The views from the house and decks were great. We enjoyed eating meals on the deck off the kitchen multiple times while taking in the view. We also spent plenty of time on the deck and dock by the water while enjoying the many water toys provided and while riding our wave runners. The paddle board was something we had never tried and had lots of fun with that. We ate at the Wolf Lodge the first night of the stay, which was close by and real tasty. The other two nights we barbecued. One of those nights we ate on the deck off the kitchen, and the other night we ate in the front yard around the fire pit. Afterwards we roasted marshmallows and made smores. We really enjoyed it all. Something else we liked about staying at this house were the friendly, helpful owners. From the moment we booked this location at the last minute until the time we left, they made us feel welcome and relaxed. We also looked forward to the frequent welcome visits from their friendly outside gray cat. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing vacation by the lake. You will not be disappointed.

Fun on the lake without lines for renting equipment or crowds

This property is a great value in my opinion. It is right on the lake and away from the crowds of CDA. Make sure to stop in CDA to stock up on groceries etc before you arrive as it is about 30 minutes away CDA. We did go to CDA one day for lunch and sight seeing. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking and standup paddle boarding from the deck. We also liked hanging out on the "lilly pad" that floats in the on the water. I rented a wave runner from a business just a mile south on 97 which was great fun and very few boats or other watercraft were on the lake when we were there from June 28 to July 1st. We caught some nice small mouth bass for the dock using fishing poles at the property. No lines or rental fees for all the water toys or time spent rushing around and returning equipment. The wave runner can be delivered to the dock at the house but the dock is not ideal for a wave runner because of the height of the dock. I did manage to tie it up to the end of dock on a very calm day but would not recommend docking the wave runner there if it is windy and waves kick up. Even so, the rental place is SO close you can always just dock it there if you want a break. I saw an eagle fly right by the upper deck and a really cool rainbow in the clouds on a day where there was no rain. The scenery is great! There was a nice food truck at the boat rental dock about 1 mile south of the house. Lots of nice board games at the house and a hammock for laying around. My girls (14 and 11) had a great time and loved the cat who would greet us in the morning and lead us down the hill to the dock. The hosts are very nice and stay on site in the bottom floor of the house (completely separate). Given the more remote location this was actually a real positive in my book as they were very helpful and mostly out of sight while we were there. I thought it was a great place for a family of 4 or 5 to stay.

I reread the other reviews before posting. This property is as lovely, if not more, than what the other reviewers have said. The home is incredibly clean and comfortable in every way. The pictures don’t do the view justice. I appreciated the do-Terra products and the washer and dryer (need to bring your own laundry soap). I had 2 hip replacements, one just 7 months ago. I am 62, my husband is 63. It is a steep descent down to the lake and a steep climb back up, but I made it once with my husband’s help. My husband had no problems. I would think that for a person that has knee problems that it would be a real challenge. The path is narrow, and I think a handrail in a spot or two along the path would be very helpful for those who might need it. The various sets of stairs on the way down had good, sturdy handrails. I read the reviews in the book left for guests to sign, and it seemed that people enjoyed the water the most, we were happy to simply enjoy the views from the deck. We went to Coeur D’Alene twice, once for an incredible anniversary dinner at Beverly’s and once for a 90 minute boat tour. We loved both. Harrison is about 22 minutes south. The Harrison creamery had AMAZING ice cream, big scoops, good price. The ride from Coeur D’Alene to the home takes about 33 minutes. It is a two lane road with many twists and turns, so just be aware of that. Coeur D’Alene has magnificent scenery everywhere you look. We caught a glimpse of the homeowners 3X. No problem there. My hobby is photography. I took some amazing photos, too bad there is no place here to post them. It was obvious to me that the homeowners went out of their way to make everything as lovely as possible for their guests. What more could you ask for?

Thank you for the wonderful review. You described your stay in a way that will be helpful information for others. I do wish we could figure out “handrails” for the trail down to the beach. I am sorry that you didn’t notice the box of Laundry Sheets that were on top of the washer. We try to be environmentally aware as much as we can to cut out plastic. Someone else thought they were dryer sheets. I have since had to write on the box. I would LOVE to see your photos. I will send you my email. Thank you again, I am glad you enjoyed your stay. 6 Adults for a week on the lake vacation

Overall the place was amazing. Sleeping accommodation bed sizes were not ideal for adults. But there were plenty of blankets and pillows. Lake toys and shaded area on the dock was fantastic! Kitchen was well equipped with seating for the whole family. Host was on site and very accommodating to any adjustments that needed to be made during our stay. We love the area and will be back next year!

We moved to North Idaho in 1991 from San Diego, California. We had two small children and the dream to build a home in Carlin Bay. We built our home with the intention of someday having a bed and breakfast when the kids were grown. The house is 3 levels and has a locked off apartment in the daylight basement in which we live in during the summer months. I had started to manage other lake front homes for summer rentals and after the kids were off to college we decided that we too would offer our home for summer rentals. Instead of making it a bed and breakfast it is now a 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom home that rents only during the summer months.

We have lots of water toys that are available for our guests. We found that our guests appreciated the personal contact and information we could share about the area.
